chinacats111
Just thought I'd write a few notes on the truly wonderful run this has been. Its always tough coming back to reality after a weekend like that. The playing has been outstanding, the sound couldn't be better, and the energy is at a peak. All 4 nights were just so much fun- and it was really nice to be able to hang with the folks that also caught shows on this run. Wish we could have had more family there, but you are always there in spirit and thought of throughout For reasons that are unfortunate, we did end up getting the 2nd elective in Hilton Head which turned out to be IMO as equally ON as the Ramshead 5/19 show. As Chuck said, the only thing missing was the family, and that is true. Other than that though, everything about that night was perfect- nothing to add or do. Hopefully we'll get to hear it again and also hoping to get more of these eclectic electives as the tours progress- this was one special show. (IMO hands down show of the tour so far and could very well be show of the year- although the year is still young) Also happy all is well that ends well- my flight from RDU back to EWR surprisingly got in 15 minutes early and Chuck made it to CLE right on time to catch his connection to LAS. Always good when the stars align and the flight schedules work out My sincere condolences to Rob K and family. Safe travels everyone!!! xoxo Lisa
