Nokia Nite 2

Had to leave a little early (during Terapin) , but according to my database those little rascals decided to play Nokia Friday and Saturday just as the Dead played Red Rocks Friday and Saturday in July of 1978.

Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO (7/8/78)

Bertha

Good Lovin'

Dire Wolf

El Paso

It Must Have Been the Roses

New Minglewood Blues

Ramble on Rose

Promised Land

Deal

Samson and Delilah

Ship of Fools

Estimated Prophet

The Other One

Eyes of the World

drums

Wharf Rat

Franklin's Tower

Sugar Magnolia

Terrapin Station

One More Saturday Night

Werewolves of London

I assume they played Saturday night and Werewolves, and undoubtedly some incredible filler that will make me feel very sad that I had to leave.

They were just unbelieveable though, from the hottest to the coolest just consistently great, with some of the best renditions I've heard of several of these songs (plus another great group drum solo with Bill Walton participating). The only problem is, where do you go from here?

Guest crazy digits

Tonight was special for me...If I can do all the DSO/REX foundation effort shows, I will. I had such a good time meeting and greeting all of the REX folks...such cool people and no better way to give back to such a wonderful drive :) It made my day!

Talking Bball with Walton was priceless...What a nice guy and brutally honest about some NBA stuff....Thanks to Sandy and her crew for making everything just perfect!!

Most importantly, Thanks to DSO for playing two wonderful shows, thanks to Donna and Healy for making your "presents" felt and thanks to Nicky for directing the family drum circle..I love you buddy!
