Guest Mind Of A Squirrel
Hey guys- Got this from the Archive. It has a rather star-studded cast of characters. I've already found one unlisted member playing the bass (Cliff Black). Also, during David Nelson's time on stage, he's listed as 'guitar, vocals', yet there's a mandolin through most of it. There is no mention of a mando in the notes at all... Is it someone from DSO? Or is John K. playing guitar with Nelson on mando? Here's what came with the thing (which by the way is AWESOME): A 10 Year Tribute to Jerry Garcia August 13, 2005 Gathering Of The Vibes Indian Lookout Country Club Mariaville, NY line up: Dark Star Orchestra (primary band); Zen Tricksters (secondary band) in approx. order of appearence: David Nelson, Martin Fierro, Peter Rowen, Gloria Jones, Jaclyn LaBranch David Gans, Scott Marwaski, Keller Williams, Reid Genauer, Adam Terrell Fuzz, Melvin Seals, Tom Constanten, Julie Avalone , Donna Jean Godchaux source: AKG SE 300B/CK 92> Oade w-mod UA-5 (44.1 kHz)> optical> JB3 [FOB omni split 28 feet stands @ 8'] transfer: JB3> firewire> Sound Forge 6.0> cdWave> FLAC Frontend taped/transfered by Rob Clarke RobClarke.km184@gamil.com ****** Please do not trade this recording in Lossy formats ****** (one set) disc 1: 01. Guest Mind Of A Squirrel
Peter Rowan is playing mandola on here as well, but is listed in the notes as guitar. Any insight into who was on the stage for what, who left the stage where, etc. would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks! Squirrel........... What a magical night that was....remember it well....but not that well, haha. Remember the whole evening was a constant flow of people on and off stage - I'd really be surprised if someone had a "complete" list of everyone on stage for every song. Thinking any responses you get may very well be a good guess type thing. I do seem to remember however JK playing mandolin somewhere throughout the evening, may very well have been the segment you are inquiring about. Know that doesn't help much
