vbf3
Was a point last nite I thought it was a NYE show, then I noticed that there were no balloons on the floor. Great show, particularly from the second set on.
Guest ripple
What a great show and a great venue! It reminded me of Bergen PAC in Englewood, but a little smaller. I'm not a big fan of 80's shows but even so they really were tight and rocked last night. Watching Rob E and Rob B playing off each other at times was magical. You could see how much fun they were having. And the sound.. I was 7th row orch right and the sound was fantastic. It was awesome to see Healey behind the board back there, and even better to hear an awesome mix that was just perfect. Being home 20 minutes after getting in my car was nice too. Hopefully see you at Nokia! THANK YOU FOR A REAL GOOD TIME (as always!)

Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted November 10, 2008 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 The filler looks like a nice third set. Sorry I missed this one. I spent my evening coming back from DC and so enjoying the charms of the CLE airport due to inexplicable air traffic control holds at McCarran. Damn the job, damn the job... chinacats111
very powerful show.... I thought the energy in the crowd was lacking a bit in the 1st set, but that could have just been me because I was very tired, but it certainly picked up in the 2nd set! It may have been one of the best Other ones I have heard....very loud and thunderous and the sugar mag also one of the best. My highlight though was the filler. I have never been a huge fan of sailor/saint but I really got it last night (I also thought it was a very interesting pick)....it was extremely heartfelt and I could tell Lisa was loving it. The stir it up was my favorite of the night...love that song. Thanks DSO for a great weekend.
Muddy Waters
Drumz....(?) Uncle Johns Truckin.... Other One Drumz Wheel UJB Sugar Mag Alabama Filler - Lost Sailor - Saint - stir it up - touch - The Weight Um yes..Drums to open up the second set..this was one of the best shows I ever saw at the Uptown in Chicago..and the best Uptown show I saw without Keith and Donna.....the second set was simply amazing as the Uncle Johns power sandwich really did frame everything.. And any show with High time tricks my trigger....
