jackjones Posted March 1, 2008 Report Share Posted March 1, 2008 Tonight (2-29-08): 03/23/87 (Mon) Hampton Coliseum - Hampton, VA Set 1: Touch of Grey, Little Red Rooster, Althea, Me & My Uncle > Big River, Iko Iko, Tons Of Steel, Feel Like A Stranger, Don't Ease Me In Set 2: Box Of Rain, Women Are Smarter, Ship of Fools, Truckin' > Jam > Drums > Space > The Other One > Stella Blue > Throwing Stones > Lovelight, E: U.S. Blues Filler: Unbroken Chain with Lisa Mackey which follows up 3-22-87 show they did last night. other one tease throughout the jam leading outta truckin. If we are keeping score, then one might argue the O1 teasing began last night. Top form; very enjoyable. ...hard to remember another 2 night run in asheville that included both two nights of drums>space, and two consecutive Lisa-free performances. Koritz sure used a lot of it the first night in Asheville. I really appreciate the attention to detail he is putting into the project back there. If that means communicating via hand signal to his compadres in order to achieve optimum levels, then I am all for it.
