chinacats111
Its obvious jamcruise was a blast and if DSO would play again, I would consider going...but I am curious- was there any downtime? I know there was a lot of late night jams going on and partying, but if one wanted to just chill and relax, is there any hope? Besides the shows and the aftershow stuff going on, what else did you guys do? thanks! Lis

dancinfool
downtime? I napped almost every day either in the afternoon or right after dinner 2 hour power naps I figured out after the first night that I wanted ot be awake from at least 10pm on every night try to go to sleep before sunrise if possible lucky if you can sleep til 10am and if you do sleep past 10am you might miss something good I slept through the Bridge's daytime set (11am the morning after DSO played til 4am) oh well you have to get over the FOMO real quick on the boat no way to see it all and if you want to go on shore (there were 2 "land" days) you have to get up and get off the boat by 10am so you can actually do something and get back on board by 330pm see DSO at 9pm after the day on Cozumel at the ruins was a little challenging but sleep dep catches up to you eventually it was go go go the whole time by the last day at sea I was glad to lay by the pool and enjoy whatver music happened to be near my lounge chair I would say if you are looking for a relaxing vacation - Jam Cruise would not be your first choice. I was exhausted when I got home and slept most of the next week. If I go next year I am definately planning some more recovery time. A night in a hotel in Florida instead of go straight to the airport from the boat and a day or two off work when I get home to get my brain back. Flying straight home and being at work Thursday morning was insanity. Yes I recommend the boat especially if DSO plays again. Well worth the experience. -e
