Forum MVP Mango Posted February 6, 2007 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 i'm a huge fan of original setlists, and I wouldn't normally say this, but that second set looks pretty dry.

windorabug
The second set was not my favorite. But let me say that first set was off the f-ing hook! Holy shit. Dixie Down almost brought me to tears. Dan, you are the man. We were really in church last night! THen the Lightning->Supplication had my marbles coming loose. The peak in Viola Lee Blues might have been the most impressive thing I have ever witnessed. For me the magic was completely gone in the second set. Except for Liberty, I love that song... The drums were really cool, impressive at times, but my attention span was shot. The sound was the best I ever heard at smalls. Good job sound people! Forum MVP John A Posted February 8, 2007 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 8, 2007 Hey, what band could legitimately be recreating the Dead without a lame 2nd set once and a while. 8) Would love that 1st set, however! Especially Dixie...
