Easy Wind
This was my first time seeing the band, despite being a 63 year old Deadhead and I was very impressed! The State is local to me and it feels like home. That feeling was reinforced by the band’s energy and old timey punch. It was fantastic to see 3 generations of fans there but the over zealous security guy doing the General Patton impression was a comical bummer if that makes sense. I walked up to him to get metal detected and channeled John Candy in Stripes by saying “How’s it goin’ Eisenhower?” 😀 Great show, great set list, especially since the Pigpen era is my favorite stuff.
