Forum MVP Rude Posted March 19, 2021 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 19, 2021 We were getting a 4 pod but they said we needed a ticket for baby so deciding what to do. Im like serious? we were invited to a private 2 day Hyryder camping fest early May but it wasn’t going to work out. 7 sets over 2 days. Saturday was 4:30-12am lol. You had to buy tickets but was invite. Sold out before we pulled the trigger. they don’t allow kids at mousetrap so we can’t do any of those. That sucks because the mousetrap has so much room we actually have a pair of tix for the sold out mousetrap shows we need to get rid of.
Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted March 19, 2021 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 19, 2021 The rules with baby can be rough. We get out to San Francisco for the Warfield shows. Everything we’ve read says all ages. All ages. We are just bringing baby and headphones. Don’t forget the headphones Rude. No headphones. No show. By the way saw Clapton on a picture wearing shirt said no snow no show. We then learn day before show that although it’s all ages. There’s no baby in arms allowed. They need to be able to walk. Well Delilah couldn’t walk by then. I think we had just started to crawl but life is a blur sometimes and I can’t recall. A dear friend from Santa Cruz bailed us out by finding us a baby sitter for the 2 nights but the baby snag almost took us out of the game.
Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted March 23, 2021 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 23, 2021 I got an extra table for 4 (with one being taken) that I bought by accident in the excitement of getting tickets. The four person table comes to $109.00 after fees and taxes. So $81.00 for the three spaces left. If anyone in the cincy area wants to go, please let me know. It's Saturday May 15th, 7:30 starts which guarantees a sunset second set opener. I'd miracle them if that's what will get someone in for the show. Gonna be one for the books. They dark starred their last appearance
Forum MVP Rude Posted March 23, 2021 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 23, 2021 At this point baby is more important than shows. I didn’t plan any music. The gf did lol. She was buying tickets like a crazy person and we unloaded many of them. We had a good lockdown year Of shows. Saw like 15. Hit 10 of the 12 Hyryder indy shows and a few of the cincy oneself the way up to 35 weeks. I’m ok with no live music for the next year. If we lived in a town with live dead we’d get a babysitter. But not dumping baby for a few days to see shows besides the caverns. Was gonna take him but outdoors in April is too risky weather wise.

Best kid friendly environment. I have a son graduating high school this year that went to the shows with me there starting when he was 4 or 5. Has probably done a half dozen over the years

Forum MVP Rude Posted March 26, 2021 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 26, 2021 The pod thing is the issue. I don’t want to be stuck in a pod with a baby who needs to be walked around. The Trap in Indy would be perfect if they allowed kids outside but alas they don’t. So there goes all those Hyryder shows this summer. We feasted on them last year. Great atmosphere. Large area. We caught like 10 of their 12 shows in Indy.
Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted March 26, 2021 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 26, 2021 So in Philadelphia which was cars. They let us put baby in stroller and walk around. We ended up relocating further up with Vic and some other friends. The baby actually helped us move around. Staff understood I couldn’t keep her still.
