Forum MVP Rude Posted July 16, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 16, 2020 Few days late on this one but the 3 “cd” release is solid. Beautiful mastered 2/21/71 cap theater show. on that note it was curious to me how long the dead was playing GSET without the hook. This may more of a deadbase research project like sunshine daydream but without the hook in the song is definitely lacking and I know they played it a bunch before the Abraham and Isaac....hook was added. the show is on Apple Music and I assume Spotify and it is crystal clear with great levels. It’s called layering. It’s in style right now. Trust me. I’m now an influencer and showing off my Bugatti on my Instagram. That’s what’s cool now. Going bankrupt buying things so others can give you thumbs up on a 1 and 0 device. If I don’t get 2000 thumbs up I’m cutting off my thumbs. Opposable thumbs are overrated anyway. Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted July 18, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 18, 2020 I'm not buying into the stream scene. It's too far removed from the partying and anticipating being in the doors before first song, then total envelopment of everyone around me at the show, how the seats and the configuration of the venue, smiles and winks going back and forth between the stage and the rail as the music comes forth layering into the room/theater/bar/????(field), then the after show gathering with everyone as we attempt to let the show be over, and back to the car (or maybe it's a subway train) taking us back to the roads of society totally changed. I'll watch YouTube but I ain't committing yet to purchasing stream tickets. Others should because it helps keep the artists and the venues alive. Please give freely if you can, you never know when Angel's will fall Thread drift, I forgot where I was at
Forum MVP Rude Posted July 19, 2020 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 19, 2020 I didn’t see you at riverfront live last weekend. That wasn’t a stream show and it was a blast in your hometown!!! and yeah I don’t pay for streams. They don’t quite cut it and I only care about hearing the music. Watched the Dso 6/6/70 set 3 last night and the music was tight but the cameraman was bonkers. Like ultra zooms that caused the focus to go out then retreat and rezoom. Show the whole band ffs. These zoom ins on fingers are boring.
