Forum MVP acududeman Posted July 2, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 2, 2020 For you DC-area folks, it looks like JK is doing a free "acoustilektric" show in the parking lot of the State Theater in Falls Church, VA on Thurs 7/9 @ 7pm.  It's a start!!.....😎
Forum MVP BillK522 Posted July 3, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 3, 2020 Funny I just heard of this event on the calendar. Been to a couple parking lot shows so far. Hopefully work and 495 will cooperate. COVID has loosened up traffic in the DMV. Hopefully see you there. Â Praise DSO.
Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted July 3, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 3, 2020 Wish I could be there. Hopefully something like this pops up while I’m visiting mom. I should be able to get out for a night. Have to be super careful as Covid big deal for my mom for sure.
Forum MVP BillK522 Posted July 10, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 10, 2020 20/07/09 John Kadlecik Solo, State Theater, Falls Church, VA  Alan Watts Blues, Brown-Eyed Women, Dire Wolf, Lazy River Road, Hard Highway, Crazy Fingers>Cassidy.  Any Road, Touch of Grey>Scarlet Begonias, Lovers In A Dangerous Time, Mississippi Half Step, Golden Wings, Down To Eugene, Terrapin Station, Ripple.  Hooray for live music. A visit to see an old friend at an old venue yields positive results. The parking lot tour of 2020 continues in DC as John's credible chops were on full display. He built some songs laying down the bass, drums, keys, rhythm guitar parts and looping them before the Jerry leads--popping back to guitar only at the end of the jam. Pretty cool stuff. Hell there was a triangle in there at one point. He mentioned being excited to play in front of a live audience and it showed. LRR spot on, Crazy Fingers>Cassidy personal highlight. The sing along Touch transitioned smoothly to Scarlet B's. Good music. Good space. A little hot with the mask.  Praise DSO.
