I have a drug addiction … caffeine,  and coffee is the delivery mechanism.

This morning I have run out of coffee beans and in these days of C-19 I will not risk my family’s life by going to the store, so the lyric is…

Gotta find a woman be good to me

Won't hide my coffee, try to serve me whiskey

In any given situation there’s always gonna be more dumb people than smart people, we ain’t many!!

Ken Kesey said these words (and more) over a jam coming out of Dark Star and going into Drums on 10-31-91 less than a week after Bill Graham died.  If you have never heard it, it’s powerful and fits the current situation.

My list from an email I sent friends (some already mentioned):

When life looks like Easy Street, there is danger at your door.

Nothing shakin' on Shakedown Street, used to be the heart of town.

Where have all the people gone, today?

If the thunder don't get you, then the lightning will.

There's a fear down here we can't forget, hasn't got a name just yet.

You're sick of hangin' around, you'd like to travel.

There were days, and there were days, and there were days between.

Things went down we don't understand but in time I think we will.

In the heat of the sun, a man died of cold.

Some folks trust to reason, others trust to might, I don't trust to nothing but I know it come out right.

What A Long Strange Trip It's Been
