LIkeEveryOne
With 30 shows under my belt this year, the thing I dread at each show is : where the hell do I park. Any interest in starting a category for parking @ shows?

Forum MVP Greg from Chestertown Posted December 7, 2019 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 7, 2019 So true. Parking lot address would be used on GPS so that I can drive straight to where my truck will spend the night. I can find the venue from there. I was halfway to Philly and the new venue, the Philmore, when it dawned on me that they probably weren’t going to let me bring my truck into the show. What I really needed was the address for the lot, not the venue. People would be more adventurous and go to more shows if it wasn’t so adventurous. Hardpan
Great idea. Parking pitfalls or tough areas, any general parking info can be helpful. Height restrictions in parking garages would be a great help for anyone who drives a pickup or a van. Probably not necessary for your ride, LikeEveryOne 😛

I found a REDDIT post, and the best place to park at Fillmore in philly is at the Sugar Casino right across the street. It's free and 2 minute walk across the street. how to structure this on the board is a question for our Web Master !

Forum MVP Greg from Chestertown Posted December 9, 2019 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 9, 2019 That’s a great start! Honestly, I think this is part of the tour information hub. Back in the day, if you got mail order tickets, this kind of information was provided on a flyer enclosed with the tickets. I think it was mostly hotel info, but we can expand on the concept now that we’re all grown up! I remember the last line at the bottom of the flyer; ‘Leave nothing but footprints’.
