newyawker
I think I was just scammed out of paying for 2 tickets for Saranac. Guy seemed totally legit. Paid 40 bucks for 2 tickets he had to unload. PayPal sent. No tickets. First time it has ever happened to me . Totally pisses me off

newyawker
PayPal can not do anything since I used the option of send money to friends/family. I’ll have to go to my bank and dispute it. The person went through a lot of trouble creating a FB profile that appeared legit. I bought a couple bunk tickets in the 80s at a show, but nothing like this has happened since. Forum MVP PoetryGirl Posted July 29, 2019 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 29, 2019 Man! That is true. Sorry for this run-in. If anything, think of it as continuing education.sometimes, we pay for schooling. Maybe that will help with some unresolvable emotions around it all. 🌈🌺

Forum MVP Rude Posted July 29, 2019 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 29, 2019 It probably was no trouble making the Facebook page for the scammer. How did he scam you? Facebook post on Dso page? Do you use CashorTrade? It has protections. Unfortunately now you have to pay this 3% insurance fee if gold members but when you only trade with other members that have reviews it’s an unnecessary fee.
