Forum MVP DesertDead Posted April 25, 2019 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 25, 2019 For Thursday let’s please seek out everyone’s favorite 1st set jam: All New Minglewood Blues. A jam that’s easy to take lightly, but a good one is a blast, and everyone here knows it.
LangeradoSoul
I think Minglewood shined brightest in the Brent period, and a couple of my favorites are 10/10/1982 and 6/24/1985
Forum MVP DesertDead Posted April 26, 2019 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 26, 2019 Great ones, Langerado. Gracias. I, too, will offer up one with Brent. Funky Brent, that is. If you are reading this and have never heard this, I promise you from the anonymous space in front of my iPad that this is MANDATORY listening. Promise. 3/9/81. Glassberg strikes again with a ragin sound here. Feel free to enjoy this whole damn show. https://archive.org/details/gd81-03-09.glassberg.wise.7473.sbeok.shnf/gd81-03-09d1t09.shn

LangeradoSoul
I really love the 11/29/80 shakedown>franklins, the 12/31/84 shakedown, and 6/30/1985 shakedown. Maybe my top three the last few years
Forum MVP DesertDead Posted April 28, 2019 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 28, 2019 No argument here, Langerado. Not sure you’d get one from anybody. This one is good for a hungover, sleepy, Sunday mornin. With just enough to breathe some life back into ya. Not my favorite or anything, but sorta different. 1981 was like a giant Shakedown festival. See May 1981 for many, many cool versions.
