I got shut out of both shows but on night #2, it didn't take long for those of us in the lot to find out they had played Dark Star. Bit of a gut punch but I was fully healed exactly 1 week later when I got to see my first Dark Star at Brenden Byrne. Well, mostly healed. RIP Adam Katz.

Forum MVP Tea Posted December 12, 2024 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2024 12/12/90 - Can't believe it was 34 years ago. My twin and I had one of the most amazing musical and spiritual experiences this night. That experience had such a profound impact on us both that we efforted to listen to the show together every year on 12/12. Keith > This is the very definition of bittersweet. The memory of that time together still holds a special place in my heart - I'm just sad we can't share that experience anymore. God damn - I miss you so much. A piece of me died with you, and your memory is all I have to fill that hole. It's going to have to be good enough even though it's not. I love you 💓

Forum MVP Greg from Chestertown Posted March 17 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 17 Now listening to exactly two years earlier, same venue, Reuben and Cherise. Crowd reaction sounds like a bust out. Cap centre feeling some love. isn’t that the spot they busted out Ripple for the only time after the fat dose of 1980 acoustic renditions? Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted March 23 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 23 Maybe dew to the absence of the Fire? My 6th show, you can really hear the crowds joy during the beginning of Scarlet which was generally due to the celebration of the upcoming Fire; however, Jerry extends the leads probably knowing it wasn't going to be. Reading the comments tells of a naked man up front that might have prompted the Ship. It WAS HAMPTON and the ryde indicative of the upcoming surprises that ensued '85 ~ the first really big bust out year in a long time , coming off of that incredible BCT series. The whole band is so hyped from the crowds energy , this is a fun show to listen to

Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted Tuesday at 10:42 PM Forum MVP Report Share Posted Tuesday at 10:42 PM Spring tour 89 was my first time doing shows and not getting in also. Didn't get in to the first night Atlanta, neither Greensboros and only one Pittsburgh so I know what it was like to only be in the parking lots. You're right tho about 4/8/89 with GDP sending me front row center for my home town show and running two D5's from the 20th row. (wrote this thinking you had missed Cincinnati 85~ then saw 1989). It was great to meet you and that you got to experience 6/24/85 when Dark Star recreated that show in November of 2021. I had a bummer during that spring 85 tour. By driving all the way to Philly with a friend for the 4/6/85, Saturday show, leaving right after to drive back home, sleeping in the grass on the side of the highway waking up when a spider bit my lip only to hear about the Sunday Morning Dew and all the goodies of this Monday 4/8/85. A big lesson learned, except not well enough because by not going to Saratoga missed the High Time. Well rewarded at Hershey though with my first Dew and that first set trifecta. Thanks for the post Bill♥️ Everyone got treated righteously to 4/8/89 to start off Jubilee last year. I knew it was either Cincy 89 or Frost 89 with the starting LTGTR, wang dang clinched it tho and we were off ⚡🎶🔥🇱🇷
