Milehighjoel.
Definitely one of the top 'sad I missed it' shows along with the second night dark star. Similarly had a friend spill out of the VW bus a few days after in southern illinois telling us about the help slip bust out.

Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted November 3, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 3, 2020 This was something really special they did inn that BCT run. Weird how I ended up with a soundboard fairly quickly, like by 1985 fall, must have been put out there by some kind power that be, very drippy, trippy show on sbd

Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted November 5, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 5, 2020 He shared what he had gotten during the fall Europe tour in 1990 with me at one of the five JGB Wiltern shows in November that year. It was a nice group of people in our row with him and he took care of all of us. Happy birthday Mr. Walton, the world became more interesting planet because on this day.

Forum MVP BillK522 Posted November 16, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 16, 2020 85/11/16 Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, CA Hell In A Bucket>Sugaree>El Paso, Dupree's Diamond Blues, Little Red Rooster, West LA Fadeaway, Let It Grow. Tennessee Jed, Cumberland Blues, I Need A Miracle>Crazy Fingers>D>S>Comes A Time> Gimme Some Lovin'>Truckin'> Black Peter>Good Lovin'. E: Day Job. Another fine example of the wacky good lists being produced in 1985. Only TennJed in the second set from the 80's on, and an opener to boot. The second set especially tasty, check that pre drums. I have found the second set Cumby to be quite righteous, and approve of the post space Truckin'. It was 35 years ago today. Forum MVP DesertDead Posted November 25, 2020 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 25, 2020 1973 is the year for TIGDH, November 25. Feyline Field in Tempe. Charlie Miller transferred board. 5-star boogie fest as only 1973 can provide. Do not skip the China/Rider (not sure anyone would ever skip a China/Rider, but if you were going to, don’t start by doing so here...) https://archive.org/details/gd1973-11-25.sbd.miller.113007.flac16
Forum MVP Greg from Chestertown Posted November 25, 2020 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 25, 2020 I checked that one out this morning. I love the feelin groovy jam of the ‘73 China Ryders. I also noted a late first set Row Jimmy. I love the ‘broken heart don’t feel so bad’ lyric. If that don’t sum it up nothing does. Followed by a lyric that is some of the best advice ever given. Not too fast and not too slow.....
Forum MVP DesertDead Posted January 7, 2021 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted January 7, 2021 Let’s bring 2021 into the world of TIGDH with January 6, 1978. A smoking and pretty fun show at Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, California that is memorable for reasons other than the show that was held there in February 1977 that you might have heard of: this one has Garcia singing in set 1, but he calls it quits for vocals in set 2 due to laryngitis (too much, too fast over NYE, Jer?). Note some banter and a stupid Weir joke in set 1, how very gently Jerry sings when he does, and the Truckin, as it promises to get you moving. Bonus Intel: the two shows that followed were in San Diego, and neither one of those shows had any Garcia vocals at all. Can someone say “rain check?!” https://archive.org/details/gd78-01-06.sbd.clugston.6953.sbeok.shnf/gd78-01-06d1t03.shn
