Forum MVP DesertDead Posted September 21, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 21, 2017 All that talk about the good ole Maxell days led me to start this thread... Please share some fun ways to label songs. My boy, Taper Ted from Wrigleyville, was the first one I ever saw to use: Dough Knees

Forum MVP DesertDead Posted September 21, 2017 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 21, 2017 C'mon peeps, I purposely left all the low-hanging fruit so everyone could chime in. TLEO still always throws me at a glance because it sneaks a name into it lol.

Forum MVP BillK522 Posted September 22, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 22, 2017 Love all this talk about Maxell XL days. I've attempted several times to pear down my cassette collection and despite probably never listening to them again, just can't do it. Every day coming home from class and rolling the tape decks into the night. Forum MVP DesertDead Posted September 22, 2017 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 22, 2017 Would you use: "Stuck" or "Memphis Blues"? I evolved to the former over time.

On most of my tapes, any song with Blues in the title was changed to Blooz. Not really sure why ..
Forum MVP bs69 Posted September 22, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 22, 2017 I have a lot of tapes with Iko marked as Aiko, not sure which is correct. O1 always saves some space, but now there is an arena by that name outside London
Forum MVP Tea Posted September 22, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 22, 2017 If a show contained an Other One prior to 1971 or otherwise also contained Cryptical, I had a penchant to list it as: TIFTOO. What the hell was/is wrong with me? That's a rhetorical question...

No wrong answers, of course. I have seen the version Tea uses as well as TOO, which always throws me like many of the others lol.
