Forum MVP cm_hayden Posted April 15, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 15, 2017 Why can't the Tigers find just one decent middle relief pitcher? There is no joy in Mudville tonight.
Forum MVP Rude Posted April 18, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 Went from a baseball addict to uninterested after my braves were sold to a corporation and cut payroll. Ted Turner loved baseball and spent to get the greatest pitching rotation ever assembled and once time warner aol bought them, they let the high priced guys go and the braves went into a free fall. Although it does resemble that the chalk came through across the board for the divisional winners. D-backs!!

Forum MVP acududeman Posted October 8, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 8, 2017 Just when I was about ready to throw in the towel on my Nats last night, they resurrect from the dead in the 8th and turn around the entire series.....what a game! Yeah, that was something. I always try to remind myself that the 8th and 9th innings count as much as the 1st and 2nd.

With no dog in the hunt I will gently offer that the Slubbies did actively contribute to their win tonight. But with a 9-8 final you can look at both teams really trying to give it away to your point. I'm sorry your team lost, man. So as we say at the track, "turning the page..." I hope we see L.A. And Houston, with the Dodgers winning it all.

When Dusty called for Sherzer (?), that place was literally peaking. He gets the first two hitters out and then comes the most unconventional bat-around by the Cubs - it was one of the strangest things I think I've ever seen in post-season baseball. I feel terrible for the Nats but think about Cleveland: 2016 Up 3-1 in the WS - lost GM 7 in extras. Lose 3 clinching games in a row 2017 Win 22 in a row! Go up 2-0 in the series on the Yankees after ripping their hearts out in extras in gm 2. They then proceed to lose 3 series-clinchers in a row against an inexperienced and poorly-managed Yankees team Despite the Nats playoff futility, I think I feel worse for the Tribe. October baseball rules!
Forum MVP cm_hayden Posted October 13, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 Wanted the Tribe to pull this one off, have no reason to hate Yanks (except for the fact Trump will go to games).
Forum MVP BillK522 Posted October 13, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 13, 2017 Nationals post seasons are epic torture. Thoughts go out to all Nationals fans. As a division rival of the Yankees, tough watching them all ready good again. Can the Cubs possibly repeat? Great post season so far, bring on the LCS. Given how rested the Dodgers will be, and weary the Cubs should be, I'll be shocked if the Cubs can pull off the series win. That being said, crazier things have happened.... Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted October 20, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 20, 2017 a lot of the Yankees are former Reds, which makes me hate them even more, esp todd frazier, he was soooo welcomed as he started out in Cincy, now he's like this big dude that knows it all, screw chapman also, I guess it's going to be good baseball any ways
