Forum MVP August West Posted March 28, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 28, 2017 Well it looks like this is going to happen. I feel bad for the people of Oakland, and their devoted fan base. It seems that the NFL could give a shit about history, or anything else regarding the Raider franchise. It's ALWAYS about the money. As recently as 2016 I remember Goodell saying the NFL would never sanction anything in Vegas because of the gambling. Their reps couldn't even go there, let alone step in a casino. I believe the owners wanted the Pro Bowl there recently. Goodell shot it down. Goodell also says Daily Fantasy Sports isn't gambling. The NFL is in bed with Draft Kings, and Fan Duel. I play fantasy sports daily on the big 3 sports. For anyone that thinks it's not gambling, I have an island to sell you. So now he says that although the NFL will now have a franchise in Vegas, the NFL's stance on gambling remains the same. Really? The bottom line is Vegas had the money, and Oakland didn't. The NFL owners voted 30 to 1 in favor of the move, with the dissenting vote coming from the Dolphins. Chucky V will be their biggest fan.
Forum MVP gr8fulpair Posted March 29, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 29, 2017 Complete bullshit. The fan base in vegas will not hold the jock strap of the Oakland fans. Tourist town, nobody FROM vegas. (No offense chuck, love ya buddy). It will be another attraction.
helpfrankslip
I remember how Goodell handled the referee situation couple years ago! I happen to live in the east bay area and have seen firsthand how no matter winning seasons or before last season many loosing seasons where these fans are still diehard fans you will never hear the words band wagon around here like gr8tulpair said I give it 2 maybe 3 seasons and the Vegas fans will move on to something else like an outbreak of A.D.D. Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted April 28, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 28, 2017 I put in my order for a sky box in our new world class stadium. Hosting an epic draft watching party at Caesar's tonight through the weekend. Big, big bucks laid down. We've moved way beyond Tark's pro teams. Let's see: a couple of stadium football teams, some kind of hockey team for a while, an indoor soccer team... Now going for NHL like MC said, and a soccer team that is one level below MLS may be coming. Our AAA baseball team should qualify as a professional sports team too. Oh yeah, WSOP. If that ain't a franchise I don't know what is.

Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted May 6, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 6, 2017 Prostitution is not legal in Clark County. The closest legal brothel is in Pahrump, which is in Nye County. Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana is legal for recreational purposes but the selling of non-medicinal or recreational is not up and running yet. The projected date for that is July 1. At this time smoking in public is not permitted. The casinos do not permit it on their premises. Smoking lounges are being considered by the legislature. Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted May 6, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 6, 2017 They need to open smokers lounges. They will. Vegas is money obsessed. Cheap dirty fleeting money. To much to lose not to market marijuana to tourists. Nevada one of the few states that has reciprocal agreements with out of state medical cards. Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted May 9, 2017 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 9, 2017 You can definitely get a hooker on the strip legal or not legal. Apparently they have dating websites available anywhere called sugar daddy dot com or something to that nature. That's basically finding yourself a long term prostitute right there.
