Absolutely epic show.  Front to back.  It was you have to be kidding me awesome.

Skip was just sensational.  He deserves particular mention on a night where the whole band was off the charts.

There was a scary few moments in Lovelight when there was a brief and partial power outage, effecting at least Rob and Rob.  And Lovelight was 28 minutes!

Great as the second set was, I was particularly blown away by set 1. And the sound was pristine.  They really dialed in the UC Theatre over this run (except for the crowd numbers - the place was totally oversold tonight).

Filler was White Rabbit.

Wow, holy shit, etc etc...

And We Bid You Goodnight

Filler: white rabbit

Spectacular performance by band, crew and every person there!!! We did it!!!

i have ALWAYS wanted to see them do a '69 show set and an elective at same show!!! I first started talking bout it right after their first 69 and when I see they have done it lately I get all jealous like when I chased 69 shows for over a year bf getting one...... deeply satisfied. You can get satisfaction, just go see DSO ;)

Apache made it to his first DSO show!!! I told him that friends don't let friends miss these kind of shows and that he was coming regardless of how he felt about his health.... but by time we left for the show he felt great (thanks hospital!) and we had a marvelous time- he even made it thru the whole night up front w me :)

I have been craving a don't ease so much it's not happening ;) but I said if they didn't open w my selfish selection, it would be schoolgirl by the set up and I looked wise to Apache when I called it hehe. Very swanky and smooth. Love Lisa back there blowin thay harp!!!

Dancin..... sigh...... full circle. Back to the beginning. We had a great dance party going on around us by this point and I took my shirt off to "doesn't matter what u wear" cause they were smokin hot up there!!! Amazing sweet sweet music!!!! Their harmonies are just so awesome!!! Couple kids near me fell for the eyes and got all excited but I told my new spinning buddy it was the hypnotize jam and then he thought I was wise, too. Apparently going to DSO is turning me into a crone pretty fast bwahahaha.  I will never forget my first hypnotize jam at state bridge.....  but this one was incredible!

sittin on top of the world is EXACTLY how I feel lately and I kinda broke into hysterical laughter while stomping about in joy bc it's true!!! Blond headed woman WAS the cause of it all and now I really don't have any worries and I'm sitting on top of the world!!! Hilarious!!! I love when I finally get to personally relate to a song for the first time in a new way..... the evolution of the personal meaning other music is beautiful to watch but more and more I try to lose the conceptual match up game of relating things to each other and fixing my synapses in rigid associations but it's still fun to observe!!! I loved the joy and optimism of the sound of first set and the way that prepared us for the dead set..... punny stuff here.

I love seeing man's world!!!!! Those wonderful DSO harmonies stealing my heart again!!! Still remember my first when Furthur was down the street in LA. That was a special night. Tonight took me to a whole new dimension!!!

the dark star cryptical other one was completely over the top in all the most melodious ways!!! I am so stoked my honey got this gem at his first show... he was blown away. But.... into Viloa?!?! Danger danger!!! Sensory overload!!!!!!!!! Too much ahhhhhhsomeness for one FIRST set.... (it felt like 2 second sets for sure!) but we prevailed.

sigh. But this review will not til I can get some sleep...... more tomorrow. Gotta catch a plane in a few hours ;)

Yes ! NOTHING compares to seeing this kind of show. What an amazing place to be!! If I were Wendy and had to think of a happy thought - this right here would make me fly. 🦅

Great smiling snikees! China-> Eleven? What a boon. Did Jeff run the train almost off a cliff at the end of Viola ?? Asheville 2015 Viola was marathon.

There are some smiling faces in SF this morning.

Why don't we just call that Dancin' jam Orgasmic Jam because that's what it was.

Song's jammed out to absolute excess include the aforementioned Dancin', Dark Star (which featured otherworldly interplay between Jeff and Skip and a particularly blissful sonic tapestry), The Other One, Viola Lee (beyond fast; in fact so off the rails that Eaton could only laugh as he went to the mic to announce they'd be back in a little bit!), Lovelight, and Death Don't.  If there was anything left on the table, and this is splitting hairs, it's the Alligator, which didn't get as dark and slithery as it's capable of.

Obviously DSO never goes where it did Saturday without Jeff coming on board, but nor does last night happen without Skip in the fold.  Not even close. While frankly it can be cliche around these parts about "DSO getting better every tour" and the like, but it really seems the case!

This was my first DSO concert. It feels good to know that this was a rare show too. Did anyone notice they were teasing China cat all the way in set one?

Nice!....not a bad way to begin a most awesome journey ;)

The lovelight rap!!!! Was the most dignified, women empowering rap I've ever heard in Dead music ;) rob can be a bit.... um..... over the top saying pussy and the like when he does his raps so to hear him tell dudes that grabbin crotch ain't what u do when u get ur hands outta your pockets, encouraging them to treat the ladies right.... it was awesome!!! Lol. Had my pig pen lit up and held high ;)

will review more when got home- flight was 7:22 PM not AM like I thought hahaha. But..... never heard a better st Stephen when most of pre-jam lyrics dropped n botched- Eaton even looked surprised that he was so caught in the moment he couldn't get it.... we lovingly screamed in joy bc these moments are so precious- and the music gets so good when the words slip away!!!

ppl freaked out for the white rabbit- half the ppl around me filmed it! Lol
