Really good, until I fell asleep which was right before Weather Report - fuck.  Most of this was performed in the wonderful and unique '73 style, including They Love Each Other, but I don't recall if they did the little bridge that the Dead used to do in this tune in '73 before mysteriously dropping it.

It should be mentioned and the setlist should reflect that they did a Feeling Groovy Jam between China and Rider.

Sound was great and I too hope for more webcasts.  Just got to remember not to lay down.

I thought they were going to do dark Star reprise for sure... Alas not.

Sounded like 'a love supreme' to me instead of 'so what'

sure was close to a Dark Star reprise of some sort.. the Let it Grow> jam> drums> Caution was around 35mins.. loved the Dino solo, such fluid drum journey he always provides

Jeff was the So What teaser.. did have a Love supreme feel to it

i heard that little Truckin jam too, was in the Pride of Cuca

Still no references to the Feeling Groovy Jam in the setlist.

Back in my tape trading days, this was the most coveted and sought after of all the named jams the Dead performed.  At least among my small circle.  I'm certain y'all know what I speak of?

I do too, if you couldn't guess.  Damn, this was a show I was looking/waiting for - a '73 style roarer!  It was even better though! '73 style with a couple twists you could only get with a DSO elective.

Just realized I can re-watch the show and catch what I missed.  Not sure how long for, but that's sweet.  Watching the show live was a mixed experience.  Great to have the opportunity to hear the music.  But a slightly bummed feeling that I'm not actually there.  Next time, I will meditate and seek astral guidance prior to show time.

I just confirmed that they did play the part in They Love Each other that the Dead only played in '73...

Won't you believe what I say is true?
Everything I did I heard it first from you.

Heard your news report, you know you're falling short.
Pretty soon, we'll trust you for the weather.
When that ship comes in, you won't know where it's been.
You got to try to see a little farther.

1973 What a GREAT year!
