Forum MVP gr8fulpair Posted October 19, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 Not to bring up a dead subject, or beat a dead horse, or even the grateful dead, but I wonder how many states Joseph had? Dr. B Prob however many DSo's had.
Forum MVP Michael Doc Watson Posted October 19, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 Joseph was everywhere except maybe not Alaska, and Amsterdam, What about Jamacia ?
Forum MVP Michael Doc Watson Posted October 19, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 Doc, your Prius could one day be held with similar esteem to the THC. Your care of that red beauty and your reverence for traffic compliance will almost guarantee that. LOL, love you brother. I would like to add more stickers to the Prius. There are a couple that were on my little red Saturn which I would like to reprise, "Are You Kind" and the line up of dancing animals, bear, terrapin etc.
Forum MVP Tea Posted October 19, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 Joseph was everywhere except maybe not Alaska, and Amsterdam, What about Jamacia ? What about Japan? Not sure he made that one... Anybody here take that ride?
Advisory Board Dr. Barry Posted October 19, 2016 Author Advisory Board Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 The thread is straying... We are still seeking pics of the chariot, anyone? Maybe a list of all bumper stickers with representative pics? A shout out/drive by posting from others (replete with a story or two) from others fortunate enough to enjoy that ride? A detective armed with VIN number willing to track down the beast with intention of Smithsonian display? It would be nice for others who didn't get to experience the THC to more fully "get" the importance, the majesty, the miracle, and the pride of the ride. Accolades are due to Teacher Matt. It would be informative to read a first person narrative of his history with DSO. How he came on the scene, when, embarrassing anecdotes from others, etc. He is an original, a protector of the space, a friend to many. When you see this tall man, shy of hair but long on spirit, go up and say "yo bro!" Dr. B
Forum MVP 2muchfun Posted October 19, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 I was "dragged, kicking and screaming" to my first DSO show JAN 1999 IN Louisville by some friends I did similar with GD back in the day...results were similar lol In fact have seen DSO 2x the number of GD shows in the same amount of time (17 years!!) I can remember Nick (when he was merch. bitch), Chuck, Matt, Doc, Mason, Joseph and the others that followed (you know who you are) and THC as part of the fireworks, calliopes, and clowns. One of my memories seems to be the band and others in what I know now as the THC (I met the car before the man lol) at a DSO show in Cleveland "flats". Looked like a bunch of Shriner's in a parade. Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted October 19, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 I well remember Nick as merch, and Bones. And when Robbie Williams ascended to a higher plane. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Except a lot of good folks (far better than me) don't come round anymore.
Weather Command
I think the number of states for me is 27 for DSO > .......certain parts of the country have eluded me and mirror my touring days with the GD....Teacher Matt, Brett, Alisha, Joseph and Rick are the top dogs for number of states, my guess....,I remember Bones.....Then, there was a tool after Bones, before Nick, who ran the merch...He pooched the screw and got himself into a bit of hot water with the band...can't recall his misfortune... Forum MVP GoingBackTo Where.... Posted November 13, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 13, 2016 Reading through this post. Teacher Matt can fit in a civic? I can see some tough guy in a truck or something g talking shit to the guy in the civic, and then the Teach steps out:)!!! Sometimes it's best not to judge a book by it's cover, while other times it best not to be schooled by the Teach;)!!

Unfortunately, I don't think I ever got to ride in the THC I'll be coming around in February to Portland & Vegas Maybe see some of you there

Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted December 23, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 23, 2016 Some of us just keep on touring. I know quite a few older guys still hit it pretty hard. We could have our own thread about about the folklore of sir Steve conway.
