Note that was a short drums and no space. I've never seen that in a elective. People pointed out what aboit in the style of electives. Ok I've never heard a wide open elective with no space. We'd just sat down to breathe and heard do it and was like wow. 2nd set wos wet.

Nice venue ! Roomy aisles enough for some good room to boogie. We also danced in the pit for soft turf and nice breeze - off and on. The sound up top in the upper seats was fantastic on the concourse level. Of course the SBD was there so not surprising. But really nice sound !! Happy crowd- the couple of Charlotte folks who had been to Fillmore to see DSO were digging the outdoor show saying it was the first concert held ever and hoped it happened again with especially DSO. First real relief from the heat we've had made for a pleasant evening. $7 parking- I had to scrounge around for 2 singles to go with my five as it was a box money drop. Just good info for future endeavors. Nice crowd - I was dancing in the concourse to Lazy Lightning while my daughter bought fries and a girl joined in dancing with me- high fiving me and grooving it out. That was fun. AND for a odd sight- there was a line for the MEN's bathroom, not women's. The women who saw it couldn't help but gawk and laugh with bewilderment. Strange times we live in.

Easy going first set - good Cassidy jam and powerful Looks Like Rain unfolded. T WYDTTYD was particularly fun. Lisa brought it down during that tune and was fantastic.

Our daughter liked 2nd set's boost in energy in the music. We got to share the boogie down with her on MNS - and tShakedown had her singing AND dancing. Not loud obnoxious singing but quieter having fun with the song singing. When you are 12, .....

Shakedown had some great power and large transductive sound. It was the highlight of the show for what I saw. That song's jam alone is why I keep coming back to fill my cup.

We left as drums began. I thought maybe it was "Who Was John?" As it came out of space and paused but then enjoyed the wheel as we rolled down the sidewalk for a quick drive home.

The stage looked amazing with great sound. Thank you all- band and crew for a nice summer evening sharing good music with friends and family.

Lovin the image of Lauren gettin down to Shakedown! It's not every day that any of us get to witness someone 12 yrs old dancing it out with dso. Good for her! Hell, good for you for making it good for her!!

She will surely be tellin stories of her music crazed mama down the line...

My motto is " to dance is to live and to live is to dance. "

She had a great time!! Gotta teach these kids how to have REAL fun! The security fella offered to take our picture. I think he appreciated seeing us bonding as a family and laughing, having a real good time.
