Forum MVP John A Posted April 12, 2016 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 12, 2016 Pity that this deck wasn't used more in the early 80s for mastering Dead shows, or so many of the cassette board shows would sound worlds better. Maybe this is why the 12/1/79 Stanly Theatre boards are so good??
Forum MVP Tea Posted April 12, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 12, 2016 Maybe this is why the 12/1/79 Stanly Theatre boards are so good?? Ahhhh December 1979 was a VERY good month - Stunning actually. I wish Healy didn't need the Cake - that kinda sucks.
Forum MVP Rude Posted April 12, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 12, 2016 Get it tea and hook up to the board and start releasing Eddie Boards. You would probably need to do a whole tour to perfect it. You may even need to do several straight tours. Tell the Mrs. that it's a history project. Knowing that this is a fairly legendary piece of equipment, she would definitely be supportive as you toured the country recording shows. You would need an assistant and I'd be willing to offer up my services. To save money, I suggest you rent a big RV for our travels. Giddy up!!
