Forum MVP Michael Doc Watson Posted February 22, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 Meet other fans, make friends, share rides, get some sleep whenever you can, eat well, drive safely, watch out for cops in certain towns, find out from other ones on tour which towns have the nasty cops, bring a dog with you if possible, let trusted friends know your plans, call home to family every third day or if there is a wife at home twice a day, don't drink and drive, meet Joesph if he is still on tour, post show reviews or other talk on the foreum, keep a simple journal, write something everyday even if its just where you are and who you met, carry a little cash and safely stash the rest, use a "credit card" or gift card that has a set limited amount on it, camp on top of the hill at the jubilee, personal note is don't drink the "water" from a young fan while dancing in front of the stage, have fun, dance and spin and twirl till the song is over..... If you want to get to heaven Over on the other shore Stay out of the way of the blood-stained bandit Oh good shepherd Feed my sheep One for paul One for silas One for to make my heart rejoice Can't you hear my lambs acallin Oh good shepherd Feed my sheep If you want to get to heaven Over on the other shore Stay out of the way of the long-tongue liar Oh good shepherd Feed my sheep If you want to get to heaven Over on the other shore Stay out of the way of the gun shot devil Oh good shepherd Feed my sheep Peace and Love, Doc

Forum MVP John A Posted February 22, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 Doc - Wait a minute here. You mean to say there can be a wife at home and a two month solo tour still in the cards? With the dog? My head is spinning...

Forum MVP Rude Posted February 23, 2016 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 23, 2016 I'll get around to west coast someday. It will likely be when the gf is finished with school. Considering she wants her masters right away, that may be a few years down the road. Not knowing that many west coasters makes it that much more expensive too so I'll stick to the roads I know for now...
