He won't be a starting point in the NBA. He will play NBA from the day he's drafted. No D-league. He may go 2nd rind but I will guarantee or bet that he's playing in the big leagues day 1

As a Cincinnati alum, I feel totally snakebit with 5 losses by 2 points including two in overtime. But today took the cake. Has a team ever had two full court shots beat them in the same season? (Tulsa also made one on a game we lost in overtime). That being said, today's game was an incredible game to watch and what makes this time of year so fun.

I don't think so. Simmons is crazy strong. Has huge hops. Makes shots consistently that no one in college does and has amazing vision. He's a 20/10/5 point RB assist guy. He shoots 60% from the field too. LSU's coach sucks and they turn the ball over nonstop. They had their top 3 scorers on the bench at the same time with foul trouble 10 minutes into the game.

On the other hand how great is Jamal Murray!!!!! Wow. Ulis got 1st team all American. Murray didn't get honorable mention. Makes zero sense. He's the nations leading scorer in the 2nd half of the year. He's had 12 straight 20 point games while shooting 47% 3's in that stretch. Plus he plays as hard as he can the whole game. He and ulis are easily the best 1/2 combo in the nation. Unfortunately UK has one of the worst 4/5 combos. Murray will be the 1st guard taken in the draft. Calipari keeps saying ulis will be going pro but if he's 2nd round the money isn't there. If he plays 4 years he can beat the Bobby Hurley assist record with half the turnovers plus being a far superior scorer. If ulis somehow does return he will be the favorite to win the Naismith award and uk has maybe their best class incoming ever. Having an experienced point who averages less than 2 turnovers a game and the best passer at the same time is something that can't be duplicated by a freshman no matter how good. John wall was a brilliant point guard but ulis' stats this year are so superior.

23 double doubles. No heart? You can't lead the nation in rebounding with no heart. How do u get 12 boards a game and lead the nation in offensive rebounding and total rebounding with no heart. He's the best player. He has a much better attitude that Demarcus cousins and he's the best center in basketball. This is a nonsense conversation based on 1 bad game. Give me a break.

I still take Simmons one. I'm not hating on his effort and his game. I don't like his attitude towards class and school. Not questioning his intellect. Just worried about his accountability and ability to follow orders and respect authority. His effort and skill on the court are still unmatched to me. However, Ingram should get 2 to 3 extra games in the national spotlight and he has played exceptionally well. I was of the opinion he was a distant 2nd pick for a while. I thought who ever got 2 and not 1 was really striking out in this draft. Now, I'm convinced that there our 2 guys that can change the outlook of your franchise in the nba. Some classes have 1 some have 0 and a few have 3 or 4. I think this one has 2. Maybe a 3rd to emerge.

Simmons is really in essence a sophomore and his game reflects that extra experience. He's impossible to stop in a 1 on 1 situation. He doesn't look it but he's as strong as any guy in college. His balance is unmatched. He's ambidextrous and even though left handed shoots more right handed. His passing is as good as almost any point guard in the nation. He should have gone to Kentucky. His game would have been perfect. He doesn't want to have to score every time and likely needs more cardio. He's at a school that doesn't value hoops and I think that also affects his attitude. But he's had some of the biggest games stats wise this year. 20 rebound games. 42 point game. People say he can't shoot but he's a 75% free throw shooter so I'm not worried about that.

his grades suck. But I don't think it's b/c he isn't smart. My grades sucked in college. I blame LSU's coach. He's a horrible coach but great recruiter and doesn't have control of his team. He's like Calipari but maybe a worse coach which is hard to believe. Note that with Hornsby I think LSU would be a top 4 seed. Without him I believe have a losing record or close to it. And they were without him again that game.
