Sometimes it all lines up and there is a perfect show. Once again, we have been delivered home! No time for full review but I wanted to say that I could prolly dance to that show forever and never be bored- not on repeat, just each moment stretched to fill up all time...... I want more! Oh yeah, bout to go to next one...... Yippie!

The st Stephen tore it all down

One of the best shows ever played by the hands of man (and woman- Lisa's kazoo in the third set was so coooool!!!)

I clearly remembered this town and venue from last year- I don't always remember such details! This place is cool! By second set I was positive I had danced with a lot of these people last year, too, so the familiarity was almost too comforting be I was wondering the whole time if it was memory or the current experience happening and which time I was in.... Very slippery to the senses, these 69 extravaganzas!

Dupree opened with twittering excitement around the room as everyone gently rolled back the clock to yesteryear. The Mountains had me joyfully spinning, clothed in tatters as I always will be and I could almost see Tara on every flicker of light...... But to take us straight to Dark Star was almost painful- I mean, it was exactly perfect but I wasn't ready!!!! By the time cryptical was coming thru I was nearly out of my body and the bliss felt almost overwhelming. Heavenly! Who among us isn't always eager and willing when it comes to being amazed with DSO playing a 69 Dark Star?!?! Sigh!

Cryptical other one was a madhouse of energy and the drummers really took this show for me over and over- I suck at describing drum sounds but they were accenting all the right moments and throwing the odd sounds in just right! To al is throw me off but actually catch me.. Very cool!

Death don't was murderous. Total annihilation of all hope for something to hold on to- cause death will always leave you there crying and we are all subject to deaths merciless call. Damn, dudes, you really took this o e out there!!!!

Set break had me pleasantly confused and I wandered around unable to stop smiling and giggling. Had a great talk w a mama on her dance night out from the kids s I came back to my spot. Twin girls and some other younger people were now in out area and we were stoked about it. However- it is hard for kids to be in the front of a 69 Rag- they were gone by the end. I mean- the song went on forever so they saw a lot!!! Jeff had trouble with lyrics and I screamed out in joy- it was cause he was playing so hard and so lost in the Rag- I love when the music overpowers the musician!!!! That means it is a really good show!

The st Stephen- as I mentioned briefly- was some of the finest playing I have ever seen by anyone in my life. The Eleven certainly was. They managed to make it sound like the music was going backwards and forwards and half speed and double time all at ONCE- really crazy sounding I know but they DID it..... So phenomenal!!! So much dance space!

The lovelight could have gone all night- musta been half of the second set at least cause there was time for some burner kids to push up front for a photo op (of themselves! Weird...) and time for them to annoy people so much that a cute young girl grabbed me n pulled me back in front of them- I became the trunk of a dancing tree that the family around me was all popping and branching out from and it was a very new experience but also very cool- we were all connected!!! So much joy in our area as Rob did the whole hands outta your pockets rap- u know, no one tapped us girls- but bf that they sure tried to scoot in! Once called out they all get scared- scared of two lil hippie girls, I swear..... Oh, lovelight, I am so glad u just keep shining on me!

Dancin old school style always makes me overjoyed. Especially when it delivers you right I to the silliness of Lindy and New Orleans- best silly dancing I have had since last tour!!! So deliciously playful!!!

That Alligator..... Mmmmmm! Crazy exciting and totally vision inspiring! Coming round to bother me some more.....

The bid you topped the show perfectly off and I am telling you- I never had such a good time in my life before!!!!

Perfect show perfect people and perfect venue. Kiss kiss, see u guys again soon!
