Deadbase has a listing of all setlists known that the Grateful Dead played through the years as well as a cataloging of that play in various ways. There are statistics for songs. Of course, first time played or last time played will be listed. The breakouts are noted like in the 1989/90 shows for "And We Bid You Goodnight"/ Help Slip Frank/ Black-Throated Wind/ etc. Furthermore, there are song listings for when that song was an opener or closer S1/ S2 and what song came  next or before for each pertinent date;  how many times played in a particular year. Thereby, you can see trends; " Oh, CC Rider got most play in the early 80s first set". You may find that Dark Star went into Slipknot into Stella Blue only on a particular show date in 1974 or China Cat was played early in its introduction into other songs rather than IKYR and what those were. There were JGB show setlists early on in my Deadbase III and in the latest the band members' other bands' shows' setlists ( Phil and Friends/ Ratdog/etc.) are listed too. Deadheads recount their show experiences for historically outstanding ones. It is a Deadhead geek's dream.

You want it hardcover. You can find the stats likely online but having the book to review and look at is the point. I refer to my annotated dead lyrics all the time. I'm pretty bad about forgetting lyrics and I prefer that over Google when sitting at the house listening.

Absolutely the hard copy is the bomb.  Hell, I still read the actual newspaper - love speading it out on my desk.

And it really isn't possible to find the stats online.  Some of them sure, but, for example, the "every time played" section in DeadBase is gold.
