Forum MVP Dead duck Posted August 8, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 Came in from Indiana and got a show from Indy 76. Good stuff start to finish. The help slip was super long and spacey. First set deal, big river, Brown eyed women were some highlights for me. Love this area/venue. Will definitely be back. Can't wait for tonight. Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted August 8, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 Best dance party since the Jubilee for me. It was great. I certainly wasn't the only one getting off on the music dance and energy.
Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted August 8, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 I love places like this. Poca too although the cop presence pisses me off and the dance floor a little slanted and uneven but seeing so many of my best friends in one place makes me smile. Forum MVP PoetryGirl Posted August 8, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 quiet togetherness and reunion Joy of old friends 25 yr together and removed All gathered in the sparkling rain And the air cleared in the groove. Freedom found like untied laces And shoes left behind Rock n roll thumped in heartbeats Ha'a jumping in rhythm and rhyme. Hot moments and fiery words Cooled in Big Rivers roll and scattered birds Rainbow whispers spirit of love, heartbreak ,remake and the simple life. Might as well. Well again and drawing water from below, Refreshed letting go And rejoice, celebrate, soar so high We are living, touching the sky All the goodness rolls into one One sacred heart in the way of Aloha. Forum MVP PoetryGirl Posted August 9, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 9, 2015 Thanks Doc. The highest complement I think you could give. My two inspirations dance and poetry met. I was amazed at 17 when I ended up with poetry in Duprees Diamond News July 1989. Never written words to music .......

Loved how the Wheel emerged...into Ship of Fools?!? if only people would hush the conversations during the quiet songs...sheesh. Dancin was supreme- Love that groove so much, aptly named. By the end of the show a pretty killer dance party had percolated, raising the bar for night two....
