Brian NJ
My heart actually skipped a beat reading this set list. I can't believe I missed this show. Chimes of Freedom and Chinatown Shuffle!!! There goes my chance of a CoF at jubilee...
Forum MVP Rude Posted May 20, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 Didn't Lisa do chimes last year or was it jubilee 1? They all seem to blur into 1. I'm thinking it was on the 2nd stage which means jubilee 1.

Forum MVP Dead duck Posted May 20, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 Funny how the memory (or lack thereof) works. Chimes was a highlight for me at the acoustic show I saw in Bloomington a few years back, but have no recollection of it at jubilee 1.

Forum MVP HelpSlip Posted May 21, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 21, 2015 yes Lisa sings Chimes of Freedom, and does it majestically was fortunate enough to catch one in Ft.Lauderdale earlier this year
Brian NJ
majestically is a good adjective but still falls short... nothing short of magical. funny thing is It didn't do much for me first time at jubilee then when I heard it acoustic I was lost in emotion... MAGICAL

sonomajon
The acoustic show last month @Terrapin was one of my favorite shows in years...and Lisa singing chimes was the crown jewel of an amazing show...
Forum MVP John A Posted May 21, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 21, 2015 Jon, if Chimes was the crown jewel of that TXR acoustic night, what was Bird Song?
WALSTIB
The Chimes caught me by surprise and i thought it was the best Lisa's ever sounded. Powerful. The band seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. The Weather Report/Let it grow was gorgeous. Thanks DSO for a wonderfully laid back performance.
