Forum MVP John A Posted May 15, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 15, 2015 and Touch was their only top10 hit...hmm... One of the funniest lines I heard from Bobby on stage was during the first few bars of Touch as they opened the 2nd set Spring '88 in Hartford. He said, "and now, our top 10 hit, A Touch Of Grey!" this is funny..wanted to hear for myself https://archive.org/details/gd1988-04-04.sbd.miller.91162.sbeok.flac16 click on "truckin" that is actually the "touch" .." and now from our album, A Touch of Grey - the hit single! " jerr sounds a little under the weather to say the least Well, I was somewhat close on the Weir quote. Yeah, Jerry must have come down with something between Brendan Bryne and Hartford. He recovered fairly well by night 3 of Hartford. On night 1 he was really hurting. I distinctly recall (it's amazing how some slices of time long ago feel like they could have been yesterday, but other moments around those slices are long gone and forgotten) as Crazy Fingers went into Franklin's thinking, "really, after Jerry's voice cracked to that degree he's lighting right into another song? And a fast paced one at that."
