liquidsmoke
Not a super great show song wise for me but I still had a great time. People seemed relaxed and kind in general. They announced that they will be playing Milwaukee Summerfest at the end of June but I don't remember the date.
GermanShepherd
LiquidSmoke, Not a great show song-wise? Respectfully disagree with that. This place knows how to bring along the party. The lower level was closed due to capacity, but the balcony was pumping. My complaint is this is a tall building. The sound suffers up there. The speakers either need to be mounted higher, or there needs to be a second set of speakers for us balconiers. No worry, $4.50 tall boys, ease of access to everything, this place makes the Vic look like a closet. Even the thin layer of epoxy over the concrete floor has a fantastic effect on the comfort of one's feet, compared to straight bare cement floors. Nice air flow, plenty of space to party, friskless entry and then re-entry! Would be nice if they flickered the lights before resuming after intermission so we could get all set up again. I have nothing bad to say of this place. What a world of difference from the Vic. At this point, I was dreading going back to the Pageant, but that turned out to be a different story. Great show, and a nice city and state to be in. I do not like Knocking on Heaven's Door. I always think of Jerry singing the line, Like So Many Times Before, and I just don't like it. I thought Bird Song and Mr. Fantasy were the stand-outs tonight.
liquidsmoke
Great time, good sets song wise just not great overall for me, some great songs though of course. I really enjoyed how they only gave out so many floor wristbands as there was plenty of room to dance up there.
