Football is over and we are going to be in March before you know it, time to start thinking about the hardwood. It is hard to imagine anyone knocking off UK this year but in a 1 game scenario anything can happen.

UK has flaws. Losing Poythress hurt them. The Harrison's can easily become irrelevant offensively and slow the offense to a standstill. Fortunately their 2 best guards Ulis and Booker are on the 2nd team. Their depth and defense will keep them in any game, but if they struggle offensively like they have shown they can they are definitely beatable. We are actually rooting for a loss b4 tourney to skew the tourney narrative away from will Kentucky go unbeaten. That's a ton of pressure.

I hope UK continues to run the table right on through the SEC tourney.

I don't think the freshmen will handle the Big Dance pressure, however. Although I must admit that they did shock me by winning it all a few years back with underclassmen.

My hope is for a Duke/Kentucky final.

It's not the freshmen that I worry about. I worry about the Harrison's and caliparis unwillingness to sit them when they are playing horribly. One of my buddies has a theory that andrew Harrison has incriminating pics of Calipari so even when he's playing horribly he stays in.

Today can seal the undefeated regular season for the Cats. Yes their conference is weak. I won't deny that. But 4 top 10 preconference wins help to make up for that. I still think the 2012 national champion cats were the best team I've seen in tbe last 10 years. They were consistently more dominant with no mental letdowns. This cats team just has so much talent several people can take a night off and they still can win.

Lol dude. He doesn't need to cheat. And I'm surprised u would be the type to accuse with no proof. The pay these kids get is going high in the draft, being the top bball program in college, and a good shot of winning the national championship. He may have had to break rules to recruit at Memphis but not ky.

Cheated at umass too. I think some of these guys hurt draft status by letting coach Calipari keep their minutes and numbers down.

I'm just giving Kentucky fans a rough time. They all cheating; Kentucky doing it better than the rest. Big scandal at cuse and unc lately.

Doesn't even have to money just impermissible benefits. Not sure I agree with amatuer status and rules but they are the rules.

Dude UK kids are all broke. They walk to class. No nice cars. Their pay is like kidd-gilchrist. Being drafted way higher than he should have. I think they are given more of a benefit of a doubt b/c they play on ky by scouts. Calipari tries to push kids out the door. The 1 and done kids don't need 100k cash. They have 1 year then big contracts. UK with recruiting mostly 1 and dones has eliminated this type of need. Now if u had to play 4 years or even 3 this would be more of an issue.

Not..so...good. Puke was the better team last night - plain and simple.

ACC tourney gives another redemption opportunity. If that fails - then we just have to wait until they wet the bed in the 1st round of the big dance. That's becoming a nice little tradition :)

Pair them up with Belmont in the tourney, that should keep them awake at night. I don't see a lot of teams that I think can potentially win it this year, maybe 8, beyond that anyone can win. I think Wisconsin and Kentucky are the clear favorites and they may end up in the same region.

I don't care that UK is undefeated, they aren't as good as the 2012 national champion team. This team is not a great offensive team and you never know which ky team will show up. That team was so consistent they dominated every team in the tourney. They were much more unselfish and had motors that didn't stop. The Harrison's would have gotten little playing time on that team. This team wins b/c they have more talent than any team ever assembled top to bottom. Sheer athleticism pulls them through in tight games. I'm afraid of facing Louisville or Virginia.

Tea, congrats on making the Finals. I did not see that coming.

Nor did I see Duke getting hammered by ND.

Let the Madness begin........always a wild ride.
