irishdead1025
Hi All, Does anyone have any info on upcoming Colorado dates for Spring Tour? Trying to make plans. Thanks!
Forum MVP Tea Posted December 9, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 9, 2014 Cue Ed Holub... Dates unknown unless you enjoy 'innie' status. Another option would be to pull up the venues DSO plays in the Spring and see if they are on any event calendars.
Forum MVP Island Bro Posted December 9, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 9, 2014 Right on Tea,, Thanks for the reminder on using this method to find leaks... I just discovered dso on the Mcdonald Theater Eugene site for Sat April 4. I don't know about Colorado, but to me this would imply a west coast tour starting up in Seattle and ending down in Cali by April 20th. I would guess 4/2 in Seattle and 4/3 in Portland. Eugene used to always be the Thursday or Sinday night gig, but this will be the second time for a Saturday night in Eugene. Regardless,,,stoked I can put something on the calendar!! I would think official tour announcements are coming very soon.

Forum MVP August West Posted December 10, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 Well Dave it looks like you just hit the Trifecta. 3 shows to open the tour, right in your backyard. Nice!
Forum MVP John A Posted December 11, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 11, 2014 Nice to see the Crossroads has become a regular stop.
Forum MVP Tea Posted December 11, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 11, 2014 Looks good for the westies although there is no question that the tours are shorter. I think this is good for the band even if the fans are less psyched. Here's to finding some {{{dancing space}}} in 2015. Thanks for all you do DSO and Crew! Forum MVP Island Bro Posted December 11, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 11, 2014 Glad to see Colrado is getting a solid dose. Stoked that we are getting 4 up in the NW,,and the seattle showbox show mid-week is ideal with less crowds likely. Plus the double header in portland is good good good. Yes, a shorter tour, but a triple nighter in Colorado, a double header in both Portland and SF seems really good to have in the mix of one night stands. Are those last two gigs outdoors?? Been a long while since they've played outside on the west coast.

irishdead1025
Really pumped for Boulder. One (of the many) reasons I recently moved to Denver was to have the opportunity to see more DSO shows. Will be ready for these 3 nights!!
Blindman
Ojai on a Sat night. Save up and take a very short walk from Ojai Valley Inn/Spa. Very tempting.
Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 Looking at PDX x 1, EUG, and the two near-SoCal ones myself. Window shopping right now but something along those lines should work out. Somewhere Holub is smiling.
Forum MVP Island Bro Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 C'mon Chuck,,,if you are already gonna make the jaunt north, might as well just at least make it at PDX x 2 (+Eugene). That first PDX show on a Thurs night will have some serious acreage available for flailing on the dance floor. Might As Well
Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 The Thursday Ballroom show is the real pull to do these gigs. C'mon chuck
Forum MVP Tom Banjo Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 I think we are in for the 2 socal shows. The one venue looks like it may be in a real pretty part of California.
Forum MVP Island Bro Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 And while we are peer pressuring,,,Rick,,you should just start in Seattle,,a Wednesday night there will also be super spacious...the showbox on a week night can be very kickass... Hell, all you fuckers should just do Seattle
Forum MVP Mango Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 As of now(and it's a long ways away) I'm in for PDX2, Eugene, GAMHx2, and Paso Robles(pretty close to home). 6 is a good number for me. Will probably skip TXR...good night to skip. Acoustic too maybe?
Forum MVP Teacher Matt Posted December 12, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 Outdoor Dark Star shows in So Cal .... where do I sign up .... I pretty much just like to do only outdoor shows anymore unless they are in close to home (ie - Cleveland, Indy, Columbus (GO BUCKS), etc) .. looks like this guy may be taking a long weekend and hit up them Paso Robles and Ojai are beautiful (expensive) towns in CA ...
