I have always been fond of 10-31-85, one of the first shows I had on tape in the late eighties. What are some other good ones to take for a spin today? There may be some better ones (I agree the '87 Broadway run sounds sooo good) but I am hopelessly biased. That was the most emotionally-charged Dead show I ever attended. I couldn't believe I'd never seen the JGB! I would recify that, and see everything in Northern CA until the malaise of '94 began to set in.
