topher44
Hard to imagine that 42 years have passed since the gathering at Old Renaissance Faire Grounds in Veneta, OR. We waited so many years for the official release of this film, and were finally rewarded last Summer. The showing in theaters on Jerry's birthday last year was fun, but having the physical, digitally re-mastered copy on video and CD's is extra sweet! I was only 8 years old at the time, but boy do I wish I had been 10-15 years older so I could have had the opportunity to be at this very special performance. Always been one of my favorites, and I don't think DSO has ever re-created this show (am I wrong?). The vibe there was so incredibly relaxed, nudity was not frowned upon, and smiles were ubiquitous. As close to a utopian environment as I can imagine. So, Happy Sunshine Daydream day, everybody !!!
