Too far out for reasonable prognostication - I'll still hope for {{{heady weather vibes}}} anyway.

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows!  Sorry...couldn't help myself.

Summer tour rain is no biggie.  If its warm, it will just cool us down a little as long as no heavy thunderstorm type rain.  That does suck a little.  And we are under cover at wolf trap sunny so maybe the rain will slow its roll and wait until Sunday.

Good Time for sure!!!

To comment, as I got older, I can not stand having a wet shirt on in the rain!!!  Cant stand the perspiration at times, but too uncomfortable to take shirt off, so for me, hope no rain!!!!  However, spinning sundresses wet in the rain is a positive sight for many men's eyes!!!!

Poca has a steep incline for amphitheater and it would be a complete slip and slide.  I got my dancing spot picked out already if I can claim it, but it will be a event if the summer rains drown us with fun.

I am not sure about others, but I am in so need of a show, and a long tiring dance!!!  A steam pot screaming with stress ready to unload a world of built up restraint on the grounds and to the sounds of melody and logic mixed with emotion and free falls!!!!  Songs mixed with truth and fantasy, to taste the music and see the words, to be a freak and not care, cause your smile overwhelms every part of "who gives a fuck" through out your body!!!!

A refuge for the aching soul ready to release.   Drugs are not this powerful, perhaps DSO should be scheduled!!!!   HAHAHA.......Ups and downs, twist and turns, I am just happy the music never stops!!!!   Keep on dancing!!   Thanks DSO for coming around!!!!!

still working out the logistics, but there isn't much that can keep me away from these shows 45 mins from where my parents live and where I grew up.  really crazy time this past summer, haven't had a proper dance session ALL SUMMER (which is just plain WRONG after 13 festies my first year vending 5 years ago, then plenty of shows every summer since then!) good thing I had spring tour out west, or I would be absolutely BONKERS at this point.  makes me giggle that I had been kind of avoiding reading the forums when I had chances to get online at the dharma center cause I knew it would just make me a lil sad for all I was missing, but then as we planned our great escape back into the world I took a peek at what would be happening here in the east during the time we planned to come and see family and low and behold the boys (and girl) had set up a show right there for the fat man's birthday bash, right during the time we planned to be there!

good thing! wasn't really willing to see Aric go thru this semester of grad school at Naropa without a good ol couple of summer shows together.  i will be out west for the harvest tour this fall and probably fly him out for a show or 2 around the bay, but this chance to see ALL my families at once is pretty damn exciting.

I am so happy I will get to see so many of you, I had NO IDEA it was such a big event when I first started planning it into our schedule! Look forward to meeting up with you guys and hopefully trying to all camp relatively close!

kiss kiss, see you at the shows!

A big thanks to the state of Virginia for cutting the budgets for state parks. The parks are looking toward other areas of revenue...usually higher park fees...but hey why not bring a festival to town!!! This event is going to bring in good money for the park. As a libertarian....I find the fact I am benefiting due to lack of government subsidies!!! Anyone say free market:)
