TJed
Tour ending Original Setlist: 1st Set (incomplete list): Music Never Stopped Peggy O It's All Over Now Duprees ??? Brown Eyed Women Passenger Who Was John Hell in a Bucket Deal 2nd Set: China/Rider Women are Smarter Pride of Cucumber TERRAPIN Drums/Space Hey Jude Throwing Stones The Eleven Not Fade Away Encore: Lonesome Another great time at Hampton Beach! The band was remarkably energetic and joyous. Great first set "Music" opener, really loved the "Brown Eyed Women/Passenger" and Mattson totally smoked the set ending Deal! 2nd set opened strong and the Terrapin was just what I needed. The set ending "Eleven/Not Fade Away" totally rocked and ended the set strong. Totally enjoyed the "Lonesome" encore. Wishing the band and crew safe travels and some rest and relaxation while on break. So grateful for what you all do. Come back soon!!!

Still Truckin
Thought there was a GDTRFB jam in the middle of Lonesome & A Long WayFrom Home?!?! Loved the two Clapton entries ( latter by way of the Bramletts) High energy show indeed at the always sweaty and sweet Hampton Casino Ballroom. Rob E wasn't bullshitting about loving to play this tour ending classic venue -- DSO always delivers at Hampton Beach. And of course that was Cucamonga, not cucumber -- gotta turn of your auto-correct there, TJed.
JStraw
Yea that was such a great high energy show! Love the venue but I did feel bad for those folks who missed most of the first set due to slow processing of patrons. The Casino Staff really should know better that to have just 2 people checking ID's for wrist bands...that created such a bottleneck...
recentlyconverted
Large crowd. Pretty cleaned up audience. Casino staff much less aggressive than on past visits. The band seemed amped up, and sounded better than average. I did not ever think I wanted to hear 'Hey Jude' again in my life, after a few thousand listens, but had never heard it like the version Saturday. Rob Barraco really poured himself into it. Really, really pleasant experience Saturday at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom.
Forum MVP Mango Posted June 10, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted June 10, 2014 You should change your name to 'not-so-recently-converted'.... I've had great times at the Ballroom. Sometimes weird and stuffy in there but I'd go back. Someday. Maybe.
recentlyconverted
Haha. Yes, not so recently. But the shoe fits, as I was slowly reeled in solely by the music, bit by bit, 10-12 yrs ago. Given Saturday's show, I may make a trip this fall.
