Forum MVP Tea Posted May 5, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 Wow. They announce Tom Petty will headline on Saturday Night?! Curious. Not only that, for those who purchased VIP tickets for 499.00 will have to pony up another 200.00 to secure their spot - and were only given 72 hours notice. GA goes up from 249.00 to 289.00 once the 249.00 allottment sells out. What a freaking shitshow! After all the hassels from last year, you think they would be a little more fan-friendly. Shap$ro strikes again Thank goodness for transparency and straightforwardness with the organizers of the Jubilee and no such associated shanagins. If I had made the committment to go to Lockn', I would be more than a little miffed. 699.00 for VIP? Hey > you can rent a 2 person tent with cots and an 'area rug' for a grand total of 1,681 including service fees. Spot not taken

Forum MVP Tea Posted May 5, 2014 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 It does have an insane lineup though. True. Hey, since money is no object. Let's do the 4-night stay and Wintergreen with complimentary shuttle! It's only a 5 bedroom Home VIP package (sorry 6 bedroom was sold out - CRAP) so we may have to slum it a little. It's chump-change at $7,499. I wonder if they take rolled-coin? The funny thing is that there is a SUPER VIP package that is TBA. I guess we should just wait to see how far above 10K we can take this. It's only money, right?

Forum MVP John A Posted May 5, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 Are you saying that someone who has already purchased the VIP package needs to shell out an extra $200, or that newly purchased packages will be an extra $200? If the former that sounds more than extreme!

Forum MVP Tea Posted May 6, 2014 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 6, 2014 Lineup is pretty darn good - let's hope logistics are better this time around. More reacting to the bait and switch with the VIP's. Not VIP treatment fo sho. I get that they wouldn't charge it if people wouldn't pay it - just a little Agro.
