Lakeside in the top of the Rockies. They don't call it summit county for nothing. Damn sure wish I could make this one. Sigh.
Forum MVP Rude Posted May 4, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 We had a condo in frisco growing up. I loved it out there!!!! We mostly just went skiing every year but went up in the summer a few times. That's the reason this broke guy is contemplating it

Forum MVP bs69 Posted May 5, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 I also used to dwell in Silverthorne, from the picture it looks like a lot more people are retiring up there than when I lived out there.

I was there in the late 80's. Summer population of all of summit county was reportedly about 9800 then. Summer was awesome. Had me a little duplex up on buffalo mountain, right below the slide. Forum MVP bs69 Posted May 7, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 7, 2014 Small world indeed, I also worked at Keystone doing maintenance in the plaza area. Great skiing, but the summer was the best.
