Forum MVP acududeman Posted April 8, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 A good game which wrapped up a fantastically entertaining tourney. Congrats to the Huskies......I did not see that one coming. They earned it and deserved it. Tomorrow night the women can make it a sweep for UCONN. Already pumped for next season! Forum MVP Rude Posted April 8, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 Was def an exciting game. Was weird how the 2 Uconn guards were at each other's throats and seemed to fall apart. Never saw anything like that during a game b4. The cats should have never been there. If they had shot free throws it would have been a different game but alas. Your Cats have nothing to be ashamed of. They had a remarkable run, and I was definitely impressed with their poise under pressure. As for the UCONN guards, that was very strange. There was weird tension there. Net cutting has a way of dissipating said tension, however I predict Cal will send at least 6 of his players in the draft this year, including his entire starting five. May end up being a record......we will see.
Forum MVP Tea Posted April 8, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 Sorry RD - They had one hell of a run. The only thing more suprising than KY getting to the title game, was Uconn winning it. A good friend of mine (Uconn grad) called me at like 1:30am - he is the brewer/owner of a local craft brewery and needed to be at work by 5am to can a batch of his IPA. Heres the transcript of our short conversation: "Fsofcnsl fsnvsvvnv vpvjdvdpn vdovddjv Uconn fjd;fjsdpjfsfjspfjspfj ujdoashwonfw wcpvepv f*ckin awesome sdkcsmcc cmpvm kck[ekv Dood" Click. Forum MVP Rude Posted April 8, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 I hope Dakari Johnson doesn't go pro. He improved more than anyone else but if I was an NBA GM, I wouldn't draft the Harrison's as they are still too mentally weak but Johnson is a beast and has improved constantly and u can't teach size and he's 7' 265. Young and Randle are ready. Cauley stein can jump through the roof at 7'. Poythress is as athletic as anyone in college but he can't generate points on his own unless it's some insane rebound dunk. The Harrison's were staying in school as scouts predicted Aaron may never even play NBA. Now he's projected at around 24th and Andrew 16th. Damn u run. U cost us 2 guys as the Harrison's don't want to be in college. Their lazy attitude fits the NBA perfectly.
Forum MVP cm_hayden Posted April 10, 2014 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 This has to be the strangest tourney in my memory. I know no one who had a complete bracket.
