I was up in the air about this show because of the venue, last time here it was inside and way oversold- never been more crowded at any venue. Decided to try again because it was semi outside. Floor just as crowded, upstairs crowded with heat lamps in the cieling ON and the speakes to transfer sound up there OFF. I understand this being a financial endeavor/job for the band and crew but WTF, there are many places in the local area that would have been better, actually ANY place would be better for a show. I have NEVER left a DSO show and last night was a first. I will NEVER go to this shithole of a venue again!!!

That being said I am so glad I got 3 florida shows that were Grate with plenty of dance space! Thank You DSO for 3 great, well played, etc nights in Florida.

What a dump....after 350 plus DSO shows, finally left a show in mid stream...no pun intended...if i had known about the stream, I would have rented a 200.00 room for my group and watched from the room....this was easily the most disgusting venue I have EVER seen on many levels...the sound was so bad that if I had never seen DSO before, that would have been my first and last show!!!! Signed, please find a better venue...

started to review this show after it happened but i guess i never posted..bix and brian are right, this was truly worst venue i've seen dso at..layout was ridiculous (huge circular bar in the middle of the floor, packed with an oversold feel, sound was awful everywhere, upstairs had a big roped off VIP area looking down on stage that had about 10 people)..better off keeping it indoors at the Revolution..but please dont do that..please go back to Pompano Amphitheater nxt year..Let it Grow to close the first set was nice though, and i enjoyed the Samson and the Playin' ..thanks DSO :- )

I am so sorry to read these post.  Aside from everything really important in life (family&work) going to a venue as described above would really be a nightmare for me!!     The money spent to see shows is significant, but no where near as much emotional energy to witness and dance to good music, just to find out they put a bar right in the middle of the fun!!!    I can just see the bar hopping talkers now on the dance floor:{     Would piss me off silly!!!!   I am not always looking for answers, but when it comes to talkers, sometimes I go dancing for a fight:{    (I mean that in the kindest way possible!!)

The forums have been a great place for a newbie like me to figure out what venues are quality and what venues to stay away from.   Thanks for sharing, and again, so sorry for a not so great venue:{!!!!!!

I really encourage foaming at the mouth, and smelling like piss!!!!!!    I know it sounds disgusting, and juvenile, but sometimes extremes are needed for down right dirty fun:}!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have found normal people tend to stay away from that:}!!!!!!!!!!

Not a big fan of Pompano either. But that was some of the good ole days fer sure. I'm thinking more on the lines of: Cruzan Amp. In WPB Feat.DSO (Velvet grass dance floor maybe 19K ppl), Mizner Park (3.5K) or Sunset Cove Amp. In Boca (6K) And there is always Fillmore or Harsh Rock.
