So I went back to check out the set list for "Legends," since the Wailers will be recreating it. It is even better than I remembered. And the Meal!

Mango, I think we will all want to try and make it to these. Thoughts, Tea?

I like Marley as much as the next guy, even though it feels like such a high school stoner thing sometimes... Sorta comes out to a love hate thing for me. Having said that, Legend is a FANTASTIC overview of the man's career and should be a lot of fun.

I'm gonna try to make it all work! Stop yelling at me! :)

Seriously though, I plan on seeing a lot of that tour. Just makes so much sense for me logistically. Having missed the first two jubilees, I am really jonesing for that Gratefulfest-esque environment. A couple more kicks in the ass oughta make it happen.

Hail satan

Listen, black sabbath was one of the best shows I saw in 2013 and one of the most important shows of my life. After jerry, tony Iommi is who I model my guitar playing after (makes for an interesting mix.) The man is a legendary god.

And just for the record, Lemmy is God.

P.s. Chuck/Tea - I waited so long to eat, I housed two chicken parms. Score one for the gluttons.

I hear you and respect your acumen. You can bring Black Sabbath and Paranoid and perform the appropriate rites. Where I come from Clapton is God and 461 Ocean Boulevard is the Bible. But Jerry's tent is big and has room for all. It doesn't matter what you listen to, just as long as you are there.

Quick! Who wrote "I shot the sheriff?" Clapton or Marley?

Clapton's most underrated work... John Mayall's Blues Breakers. More of a Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the D's, and yardbirds fan. Clapton's career trajectory after he went solo is too wonky for me but 461, Slowhand, and his eponymous debut are all great listens.

I snuggle in Jerry's tent but I'm no hippie. Ya hear me?!

The complete Legends will beckon enough for a migration away from my Jubilee nest.  Mango >a perfunctory venture down to the stage for this is the least you can do.  The short walk will do you good.

Cornmeal is appointment viewing and will require a second bowl of Wheaties.

Found > I sorta already told everyone I know that your definitely coming and that you were hosting the forum breakfast on Saturday morning.  Your just going to have to make it work.  The alternative involves much shaming and ridicule.  You know what to do.

I hope we have some hungry carnivorous forum members then. Breakfast meat is the most important meal of the day.

ONe way or another, this darkness got to give and I'll be there.

And I'm bringing my m&ms. In the words of marshawn lynch, they're my power pellets. I'll taste the rainbow too.

i love breakfast meat, esp at a festie, but i don't much care for dead animal flesh….. we can provide the healthy options at your breakfast so you can focus on the bloody stuff :)

this lineup thus far has pretty much made up my mind that we will be there.  i can't wait to see you all in one giant happy place again! missing last year hurt my heart but now that I am turning 30 it is time to get on the road for the show(s)!! this is gonna be a fun year!

Black Sabbath is cool, but you  gotta decide if it's Ozzy or Dio, ya can't have em both in the same room trying to kill one another

Lemmy is God, and he's not doing too well, dates cancelled all over this fall and winter.

And if were dragging our favorite metal bands along to the Jubilee I'm bringin' Judas Priest

I unfortunately never got heavily into Judas Priest but I really like Screaming for Vengeance and British Steel. Turbo Lover is my favorite tune by them though for whatever reason.

Lemmy will outlast the cockroaches. He's stronger than dirt and he'll be back on his feet soon. The documentary on him that came out about two years ago is a good watch.

I like Dio in Sabbath, especially Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules... my one problem with it is that they don't sound like Sabbath so I really just consider them an entirely different band. Holy Diver is a bad ass too. So I'm definitely in the Ozzy camp but he's my least favorite member of the group. Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward are just so out of control and so good. Sabbath's first six albums are all stone cold classics. Not even up for a debate. I don't know if another band ever has had such a strong start to their career as they did (album-wise.)

And for an added bonus and your listening pleasure, give this a whirl. Absolutely, devastatingly amazing.
