Saw particle open for Trey back in the day and they put on a great show. They will be in Columbus as well. Won't be letting this one pass.

Caught JGB here in DC tonight. Was a really good show and honestly couldn't think of a more fitting way to spend a Sunday. If only I got to do this every Sunday.

My favorite JGB show yet.

Here's a rough setlist from what I remember.

Set 1: Let's Spend the Night Togther; Crazy Love; Dear Prudence; And It Stoned Me; Evangeline; Senor; Tangled Up in Blue

Set 2: Ain't No Bread in the Breadbox; Lay Down Sally; Get Out My Life Woman; Tore Up; Shining Star; Don't Let Go>Sisters and Brothers>Deal

Looks like a great show! Crazy Love and Senor in the first and the second with a Tore up following Get Out and a Don't Let to boot!  Really spectacular looking show. I do believe Jerry would be proud of that setlist! Been listening to Wiltern November 1990 five night run lately....11/12/1990 Dear Prudence gets crazy

Both shows had the same setlist; however, at this level each night was completely unique

April 7th at Royal Oak Music Theater and April 8th at The Vic:

Daniel Lanois opened on his peddle steel for 10-15 minutes playing the instrumentals from "Shine" and then Steve Metzer came on to play drums followed by Jim Wilson on bass. Then he switched to his les paul electric for "Sometimes" and "Fire" (also from Shine) then he played a couple of songs from "Acadie". He joked about Emmylou tipping back some whiskey downstairs and ended his opening set. 15 minutes later The trio took the stage and started up Wrecking Ball for which Emmylou then came on stage and started singing;

Where Will I Be, Goodbye, All My Tears, Wrecking Ball, Goin'  Back To Harlan, Deeper Well, Every Grain of Sand, Sweet Old World, May This Be Love, Orphan Girl, Blackhawk, Waltz Across Texas, Still Water, THE MAKER! Encore#1: (with Daniel on peddle steel) Boulder To Birmingham, Pancho and Lefty, Calling My Children Back Home. Encore#2: Songbird.

Allison Krauss and the guys were great! I love to hear Dan B sing. Jerry Douglas played a great solo set . Gosh, that man can play. Willie was legendary, of course. He has a great sense of humor and some great new .songs..... One of which was "roll me up and smoke me when I die". LOL

Saw Melvin and JGB Friday and cornmeal sat. Melvin killed it and cornmeal was good too although they had yet another different fiddler "sitting in". Not sure the deal. They smoked at jubilee 1 with Allie though. 2 days worth
