I'd like to know if DSO has EVER played "What'll You Raise"?

I don't believe the GD ever played it live, but I actually like that song.

I guess that's my "white whale"

what'll you raise'' has certainly never been performed live by either DSO or GD...

one song that I have always, realistically, thought DSO should do is Rhapsody in Red....

That would be a ready made burn burner.  Good call.

Funny, just a few days ago I was daydreaming about DSO playing Rhapsody in Red, and imagining that they would not only do it justice, but would take it to new heights. Glad I am not alone in this wish. Maybe some day...

Desolation row...that song has so much meaning and personal connection. I hope I get.to dance to it again for you Jake. Miss u buddy.....I promise if I get to hear it...I will dance for.the both of us...bigger than anything I have ever done before!!!

Bette Davis style.

It is the greatest of them all. Perhaps not the most sacred (The Maker, Eyes), perhaps not the biggest barn burner (too many to list right now), perhaps not a constant go-to (Tangled, Fire), but for sheer brilliance it has no equal.

Agreed on Desolation - You just have to lean your head out far enough.

The Eleven eluded me from '08 till Jubilee #2. On 6 occasions it was played a show before I dropped in or the one right after I bowed out. Crazy.

I caught it in the second or third time they played it, I believe it was in Albany (after the year-long teasing), in all its William Tell glory. And I have been blessed to have gotten it often enough since. But because I don't get out so much these days it has been a while now, and I hadn't gotten White Rabbit until our FL run.

My cup runneth over.

Chuck Here's my white rabbit, well white belly anyway. Hops by when I play DSO or dead while sitting on my patio. This picture was taken while listening to chimes of freedom. She hopped onto the patio, looked up at me then hopped two feet away and laid down and grooved to dso.

Picasso moon... :( to each there own, but please don't waste precious playing time with that song. Not every one gets to see and hear you guys a 100 plus shows a year!!!!

154 shows, in 15 years, and no Picasso Moon.  Obviously not my favorite tune, but I do like it, and I'd like to catch ONE!  When we did summer tour '01 we had to skip Albuquerque, and ... you know it... they played a show with Picasso Moon, and Foolish Heart for that matter, which at the time I was still chasing.  I did catch a Foolish at NLQP for my 96th show in '06, but still to this date no Picasso Moon.  I do have this feeling that it might happen this summer for me: Doing 8/1 thru 8/3, and 8/8 in Pittsburgh.  It won't be 8/1, thank goodness, since they're doing my all-time favorite sequence of Dark Star > El Paso > Eyes > Morning Dew along with the rest of 8/1/73, but the other two Virginia shows seem likely to have a late 80's or early 90's.  Speaking of Built To Last songs, I saw Maraat do a Victim or the Crime at my 2nd show back in '99, and later good ol' Jimbo another in 2000 at Quixote's near Denver, but Mr. Eaton has yet to lay down that particular sinisterness on me.  If you're listening Rob, original setlist in the style of late 80's at the 8/8 Pittsburgh show, and throw a Victim > Picasso specifically in there! :)

I think if we combo'd this post we'd have a killer show. Maybe when I win the lottery and fly in DSO and forum guys to play a private show on my Caribbean island they will play this post. /end pipe dream.
