Yes, they dang wanged it very nice last night...

First set had tremendous FLOW all the way through...whole set was a highlight but after Jack, Love Each Other opening the vibe was set for a great evening...Jeff already sneaking into the high country on both those first two and barraco taking some great territory in love each other.

Row Jinmy was luxurious (and I had just emailed some buds that day that we missed a jimmy since they had played it in Spokane, but hey, that was on the other side of the cascade mtns and an early '73one) ,,,this one was very extended and heartfelt especially toward the end...was def a first set highlight for me.

Railroad set off a dancesthon that was inspiring to see since sometimes Seattle crowd a bit stiff, but that got the WHOLE joint grooving.

Entire first set just came off so naturally and as I said, perfect flow.

And a 2nd set that kicked off potent and held all the way through. No slack anywhere to be found. The transition out of the trippy estimated jam into uncle johns was just lovely...and the STELLA...mmmm!

I loved this show...sometimes I see '91 and think "I didn't miss out" but not being at this show would have been missing out for sure...

This was the best vibe at the showbox I think I've ever had...tons of dance space (not sold out), very chill security (FINALLY, they mellowed out here!), and a crowd that overall was there more for the music than the party compared to a maxed out weekend show at the showbox.

I'm curious and excited to be at Bremerton tonight. I never would have expected dso to land there (military town not exactly saturated with deadheads) but the theater looks great and I love it when they veer off into new venues...and the smaller town shows are always a plus...

And besides all that the sun started shinin yesterday as dso came into town after a shitload of rain in western Washington for a solid week of mostly rain(leading to record breaking rainfall for September in many areas) so we are talking good vibe, mon.

I would also add that it was a real pleasure to hear/see Skip weaving in so solidly with the band (my first show w/o Kevin)...I was very impressed and the Box of Rain was heartfelt beauty for sure...

thought they might come into the other One after space after he threw out a couple thumpers just before taking his guitar off out of uncle johns into drums
