2nd set was hot. It defines why I keep coming back. Tea felt it. So did sun. I know I did. I bet even my buddy star child felt it. When the music clicked so did our soul and we fly together and we felt all right as one. Thank you dark star and the grateful dead for providing a space where all people can come and walk together. I love you guys.

I second all three of those post.   Thanks Chris for the setlist, I forgot how many fucking songs they played.

My god, Stephen.....played it through.   took their time, and it sounded so sweet!!!!

I made a past post about how it used to be, more people standing than dancing.   Not TONIGHT!!!!!   it was hippy love through out.    I have not seen dancing like that since GD!!!  No shit, no how.......it was beautiful.    Last night was a wonderful night, and yea MC, we felt it.  I have never seen T jump so high!!!!!   Good showing T!!!   Brought smiles to my face seeing you jump around like a kid in a candy shop!!!!!

No talkers, maybe some sitters:{  to be mean to, but it was all elbow to elbow sweaty dancing hippy loving fools on a cool sea.   Absolutley fucking killer!!!

Really, a 76 show that I have listened to plenty.   DSO performed so well.  A supposed rainy night turn beautiful bright skys with a a half moon showing bright.   Think something was sung to it, when the moon is half way down:}!!!   I went out  and danced all around!!!   Star was shining bright tonight, good to see forum fellows jumping with fun.  Met couple more tonight by the strangest of ways, but so fitting for these events:}!!!!

Egowrite:   was so nice not being videoed and being one of few really dancing the beat.   Tonight, it was love all around!!!    I am so thankful, and as MC said...I love you guys!!!  Tonight the love of music, and the music passed the love, cause we were all jamming.   May sound funny, but that, tonight, what this shit is about!!!!   No judgments, no matter what you wear, we were all out dancing in the streets, and there is a lot to be said about energy feeding!!   I feed off so many of you tonight...I could not stop smiling!!!!!!!!!

Three Day EVENT next year...start us on a Thursday:}

I can not believe another night:}!!!!   Yip the fuck e!!!!   Campgrounds very chill....Good party, long night, and shitty firewood but good forum crew had it well warm all night!!!!

High lights:   Stephen....no doubt, but I love that song, and to hear it played in glory live for only second time, it was special.  I spent some time near speakers tonight, but the energy in the song ripped my through the back, but it gave me miles to spin and run.   Sugaree, was perfect.  Perfect. Perfect. perfect.   Sugaree, did I mention was fucking hot!!!!     At least for me, as it grabbed me good towards the end .   Sat and watched Stella.   Such beautiful composition.   There was not a slow song tonight!!!   Each song had a jam that you look for when you go to these shows.   There were no ahhhss....at least for me.   First set, fuck, as someone said, I was three songs deep my the time might as well came out.    I was dance stretching a good 30 mins before they walked on stage.   Could not help it, great energy at this place, and it brought the best of everyone out tonight!!!

One more fucking night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Hopefully no rain, as I will slip on the grass incline, but maybe wear boots.   Sorry yall barefoot dancers.   lots of love to you, you braver than I, and I am so sorry if I step on your feet

Fucking 530 mumble.....whatever......Over all review... the music poured into the soul tonight!!!  It was special.  I could leave tonight, and be very satisfied!!!  But I am not leaving, and if a original,    fantasy jude would cream me jeans....could u imagine.    Last night, they will all be in full glory.....what a summer run......more to loose now than when I was a kid, but so much more appreciation for the sounds that move my body:}!!!!

Good night........morning....till the next set:}!!!!!

Peace brothas and sistas!!!!

have to be a us blues encore---no?

oh yea...look what time it is....cut me a break if you cant understand some of the shit I write:!}  I gave good effort sitting out in the woods with a laptop!!!!!

Perfect confluence of factors this nite.  High octane jaw dropper!

Might as Well was heavily metaphoric for quite a few and a nice way to get things started.   A strong Mama Tried showcased a little of everything in a very short time!  Fun!  A rollicking T-Jed followed by a very deliberate Candyman.  For me, the next gear started with Big River.  It just blazed from the jump and got people lathered up pretty well.  Happy with a twinge of disappointment when Scarlet fired up since it was obvious to me (with no cheating this time) that this was a 76 show and Fire on the Mntn would not be surfacing.  It took just a couple minutes for that selfish thought to get obliterated.  Scarlett did just fine by itself!  Very good tone that just took off and weaved it's way around and broke forward strongly before eventually finding its way back to where it started. Big smiles as far as the eye could see.  This place was beginning to liftoff and everybody knew it.  Sober or otherwise, there was no question about the energy building with the band and the crowd knew it.  No rain, kind souls, beautiful mountains, rich sound.  It all just kept building....

LL was very good!  Eaton kept passionately urging the rain to stay away which it would for the next 24 hours or so.

I loved the poingant Roses - I had to move a couple times to get away from some talkers but eventually found the right spot to take it in.  Jeffs vocals (hell > everyone's vocal for that matter) were nice and strong and he got spread those wings a few times with this one!

Next gear:  Lazy > Supplication.  Eaton let this sucker fly.  While the transition to Supplication was a little shorter than I like, it made up for it in gusto!  Things were really cookin at this point and people were startin to really Bliss out...I wasn't expecting the placement of BE Women here but it fit pretty damn well to me - it rocked all the way around!

5th gear:  Promised Land!  Flat-out killed it/me!  I was spinning and jumping and was left gasping yet pleading for more :)

Set 2 = Overdrive!

St. Setphen > Dancin > Music just knocked it outta the park!  That St. Stephen was not going to be rushed and the band wrung damn near everything out that they could get.  It seemed like each band member was getting a long leash and took it where they wanted it to go before ceding to the next one up.  People were outta their minds with joy as this trifecta unfolded!  Jim stepped it up even further during Dancin!  He was 'dancin' all over his fret board and slayin people with some gutteral low-end.  BOOM!  I was amazed how these first 3 songs at some point and time started to not sound like their namesakes.  The band was ripping these tunes to shreads and I kept wondering:  "Is this still <Insert Song>?"  I mean WOW!  The Music reached a fever pitch and it felt like the walls were gonna come tumblin down.

A pretty Ship provided some brief solace to my knees although the crowd had a tough time transitioning to a slower pace.  People were still pretty geeked out and wanted to re-launch.  Again, excellent vocals and a rousing finish!

This next passgae was simply Ludicrous.............Samson - Sugaree - Sugar Mag - Eyes - Stella - SSDD - JBG.  I could write more than people really want when it comes to this segment so I will try to boil it down.  These offerings all seemed to have moments where they took the peak jams to places that were noticeably different than the eitology of the song (especially SUGAREE!).  Stella did not have as much of this effect but it still had its moments where the top-out was a little off the beaten path.  The crowd was absolutely ecastic through here!  Probably the most dancing I've seen at a DSO show in a looooong time.  I was jumpin just as high as I could as each of these came to their cascading conclusions!  Pure unadulterated BLISS!

A good Quinn ended the action with much delight.

Really one of the best 2nd sets I've seen them do and the effect carried everyone from late into the evening to early in the morning.   DSO was poised to try and top this tomorrow and even the threat of rain wouldn't dampen the expectations.

Nite #2 to come.....

Wow Tea.  Did you take a dictation machine to the show?  Solid review.  Thanks for refreshing my memory on that show :).  Thats probably the fastest show Ive ever seen.  They gave us almost no reprieve from intense rockin jams.  2nd set i was dripping after the 1st 3 songs.  I was so happy I cameled up on water b/t sets.  Probably would have passed out if I didnt.  My knees hated that 2nd set.  They wanted a break but DSO rocked us out.  Everytime I see these guys it seems like they are better and better and amaze me even more each time.  *impatiently refreshes nugs for 2013 sbds. :P

Minus getting rear ended. We made it home safe. My back hurts but I will survive.

DAMN dood!  I'm glad you got safely home for a breather but not psyched at all to hear someone tried to park their car in your trunk!  It least it appears not to be anything serious.  Feel better - patch those bones!
