This was my first DSO show, and I wish I hadn't waited so long. This was truly a unique show. The venue was small and intimate, but from the very beginning it felt like one of those Dead shows where the band recognized immediately the incredible vibe, and made the magic that some of us had the rare privelege to witness. I know that DSO tapped into this, as they chose an incredible show ( it was 10/23/72 Milwaukee as mentioned above) to sweep us away with. This show had everything, my favorite Weir?Garcia songs, from my favorite era of the band, a unique cover of Rockin' Pneumonia ( Milwaukee was the last time for that one), and a 20 minute Dark Star in the middle of set 2. I felt completely transported to my favorite Dead show, you know,  when the band was having one of their best nights. I will see them again, and for this reluctant DSO fan, I feel enrgized that the music I grew up loving will live, in a live setting, for a long time to come. Thank you guys for the great show, but most of all thank you for carrying on the music in such a thoughtful way. I am gratefully a new fan.

I will return to this venue as well, small and intimate, and professionally run. A cool unique setting for a show.
