zwyts
Haven't posted in a long time. I love this venue so glad I took tomorrow off and came down from DC. After the most recent 9:30 club show it was a no brainer. Love the professionalism with these guys. Ive never seen them just go through the motions. Anyway, setbreak right now. I was expecting an original setlist but it is a show. Excellent so far. They're having fun. Love that under 2 hours from my backyard you get a completely different audience. Laid back and attentive and courteous. Makes it pleasant to be here (it is sold out).
Forum MVP Tea Posted February 15, 2013 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 I'm glad the crowd was not a carbon copy of the 930. That place bums me out... My guess from last nite is 5/13/81. Small sample size - could be way off.

Small sample size - could be way off. I meant to suggest that the 9:30 show was awesome despite the venue which inspired me to come down to Richmond. But yes. The demeanor of the crowd in rva vs DC is noticeable The show was fun. I left during miracle. The crowd was a little too much for me by that point. So not sure what fillers there were. The show was 5/13/81 as you mentioned.

Forum MVP GoingBackTo Where.... Posted February 15, 2013 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 thanks for updating the set list. I tried to write them out last night in a different thread, and I now laugh at how I just added songs----and forgot some of the ones with the best jams!! How sweet it "still" is!!!!!!!! Recovering for a Epic showing at the Fillmore. Guy told me last night that the dancing there was ten times as good as dancing last night. Last night was pretty damn good!! Compared to electric/930---even jefferson (cville)!! Can not wait till outside venues:}!!!! Have fun in Ashville tonight T!!!!
